Damon Wayans Claims Clayne Crawford Injured Him on Lethal Weapon Set

Damon Wayans has finally broken his silence after Clayne Crawford's firing from Lethal Weapon, and he is not impressed.

The actor first took to Twitter with a graphic video which seemed to show something going wrong on the set of the Fox drama.

Wayans is hit by shrapnel from a blast behind him, and the video is allegedly from the episode that Crawford recently directed.

But the above was just one of the tweets in what became a tweet storm about Crawford.

1. What Happened?

A report surfaced on Deadline in April 2018 that revealed the series was in danger after Clayne Crawford's bad behavior on set. The cast and crew allegedly wanted Crawford gone because he was making the environment toxic.

2. Clayne Crawford's Response?

As rumors swirled, Crawford took to Instagram with a statement of his own. "I absolutely love, respect and care for my crew and cast, and would never intentionally jeopardize so many jobs," he said, adding: "I am incredibly sorry if my passion for doing good work has ever made anyone feel less than comfortable on our set, or feel less than celebrated for their efforts. Furthermore, I apologize to all the crew and cast for any negative attention Lethal Weapon is receiving because of these incidents."

3. Officially Fired!

Crawford was officially fired by Warner Bros. TV, clearing the way for a recast and Season 3 renewal.

4. The Replacement

Seann William Scott board the series ahead of Season 3 and will be a co-lead with Damon Wayans.

5. Good Luck!

After the recast and renewal, Clayne took to social media to congratulate everyone. He said the following:

"To my cast and crew - CONGRATULATIONS on season 3! To the Fans - Thank you for the overwhelming support and love," Crawford shared.

"Riggs was a dream role, and the experience will live with me forever. My heart is full. Good Luck nxt season!"

The show landed a surprise season 3 renewal.

Damon Wayans released the above shocking video after being blamed for Clayne Crawford's firing.
