2. Leo Finds Out - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

This appears to be the moment Leo finds out about his mother's death. Will he find out from one of the secret services agents or will Tom deliver the devastating news himself? Losing a family member, especially a mother, around the holidays is beyond awful.

3. Pretty Penny - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Tom will have to deliver news no father ever wants to deliver. He's going to have to tell Penny that her mother has passed away. Penny is far too young to experience a loss as pivotal as her mother being killed.

4. Breaking News - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Will Tom be the first one to tell Leo the news about his mother or will the news sites get to it first? The death of a such an important figure in the national political spectrum will spread like wildfire, and Leo may find out the truth on social media before his father can get to him in time.

5. Everything Isn't OK - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Penny collapses into Tom's arms after finding out about her mother. How will Tom run a country and usher his children through this difficult time while also grieving himself?

6. Tom Comforts Leo - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

There are plenty of hugs to go around during this difficult time. In the past, Tom has been consumed with his presidential duties and sometimes struggles with having enough time for Leo, but he's here for him now, when it counts the most.

7. Rest Easy, Penny - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Will Penny be able to go to sleep after finding out about the tragic accident? Tom will have his hands full tending to his young daughter after the loss of her mother. Will he be up for the challenge?

8. Penny Sobs - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Penny sobs uncontrollably in front of her mother's casket. Tom does what he can to soothe his daughter, but there is no way to ease the pain for her when it's regarding something so life-altering.

9. One Last Goodybe - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

The Kirkman children say their goodbyes to their slain mother for the last time. Leo has notoriously been protective of his younger sister, and now, more than ever, he'll likely take her under his wing. There is no telling how the Kirkman children will be from this point forward. Everyone grieves differently.

10. A Broken Man - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Just when it appeared as though they had overcome the debacle with Alex and her mother, Alex is t-boned in a freak accident. Alex and Tom were disputing a great deal leading up to her death, but their love was boundless, and they were true partners. How will he carry on without her?

11. Confrontation - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Although it has been ten weeks since Alex's death, the White House Staff feel that Kirkman should seek professional help from a therapist to guide him through is grief. If they confront him about it, how will he react?

12. Power Struts - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Emily, Kendra, and Lyor are the most powerful members of the White House Staff at the moment, and they always have Kirkman's best interest at heart. The problem is sometimes they don't all agree on how to troubleshoot problems.

13. An Important Talk - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

With Alex's death, the country withstanding such a tragedy, Kirkman balancing his grief and raising his children alone, and a new problem on the horizon with Cuba, a lot is going on. Whatever it is this woman is discussing with Kirman, Lyor doesn't appear to be in agreement.

14. Your Point? - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Emily and Lyor have a fun but often contentious relationship. Both of them want to do what's best for Tom, but neither of them can agree about what the best course of action is 100% of the time. It leads to them often butting heads, which is probably what they're doing here.

15. Desk Work - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Lyor is having to juggle more than his fair share during this difficult time in Kirkman's life. Unfortunately, it has been ten weeks and the country cannot run itself. Is Lyor speaking to someone about the Cuban conflict that has to be addressed? Perhaps he's the one suggesting that Aaron and Hannah do some field work and resolve the issue.

16. Packing Up - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Or, maybe this has nothing to do with the Cuban situation and everything to do with an investigation into Alex's death. There is no way the First Lady should have been t-boned. The car crash couldn't be a coincidental, freak accident. It had to be intentional, right? Maybe this is one of the agents who was assigned to Alex and she loses her job because she dropped the ball somewhere. Can we expect an investigation into the First Lady's death?

17. Boss Ladies - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Kendra and Emily are the Head Women in Charge at the White House. They're the most powerful and influential ladies who serve at the hand of the president. Now that Alex is gone, the First Lady duties have to be delegated to someone. I wonder if they find themselves taking on more tasks to keep the White House afloat.

18. Standoffish Lyor - Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11

Lyor seems to get a kick out of being contrary to those around him. He likes to disagree and occasionally cause conflict. He's stubborn and doesn't yield easily, so is something happening that he doesn't agree with? If so, he's making it known with his body language.
