Bellamy is an immigration agent who decides to return a young American boy to his parents after the boy is found in a Chinese province. He has no idea how this one decision will affect his life.
3. Landon Gimenez as Jacob Langston
Jacob is the American boy found in China. When he's returned to his family in Arcadia it's discovered he died in his hometown 30 years earlier. What?!
4. Frances Fisher as Lucille Langston
Lucille is Jacob's mother. Although she knows Jacob died over 30 years ago, she cannot deny the little boy in front of her looks, acts and is the boy she lost and embraces her lost son joyfully.
5. Kurtwood Smith as Henry Langston
Henry is Jacob's father. Although he sees the resemblance to his dead son, he's reluctant to openly welcome him back into their lives.
6. Devin Kelley as Dr. Maggie Langston
Agent Bellamy asks Dr. Langston to help determine if Jacob genetically matches the family. She's Jacob's cousin and lost her mother when she tried to save Jacob the day he died.

Sheriff Langston lost his wife when she tried to save Jacob from drowning. He's Henry's brother and the most skeptical of Jacob's return.

Pastor Hale lost his best friend Jacob over 30 years ago. Now he's returned and Hale is struggling to recognize his friend's return at the same age when he died and to find a spiritual connection to what's happening to his community.
9. Samaire Armstrong as Elaine Richards
Elaine is Maggie's best friend who finds herself involved in Arcadia's mystery when her own deceased father becomes the second town member to return from the dead.
10. Sam Hazeldine as Caleb Richards
Elaine's dad Caleb Richards comes home, unaware that he was ever dead. The last thing he remembers was driving off, but he has other secrets he's keeping.
