The Callie and Aaron 'ship has officially sailed and it couldn't be cuter.
The couples are taking over on The Fosters Season 5 Episode 3, when Callie and Aaron go on their first date, Stef and Lena have an awkward dinner with the new neighbors, and Brandon tries to figure out his new relationship with Grace.
Jude and Noah contemplate whether or not they are compatible with one another while working with Mariana on an underground school paper that gives disgruntled students an uncensored voice under Drew's tight reign.

Aaron returns! It's time for Aaron and Callie to go out on their first official date as a new couple. Will it go on without a hitch or will it be disastrous? Nothing ever goes smoothly for Callie, but hopefully, this date will be an exception.

Mariana is on a new mission after Jesus cut her out of their treehouse project. She always finds a way to land on her feet. But what is this go-getter Foster choosing to focus on this time, and does it in any way have something to do with Anchor Beach? You'll have to find out!

Noah, come on, it has to be Noah, has Jude's full attention with whatever he's messaging him. Ten bucks says it's a series of heart eye emojis and adorable love notes. Love notes and bad jokes aren't just something to be left in lockers, after all.

All Callie has been receiving recently is struggles. All the girl wants is some snuggles. It's a good thing Aaron agrees with her. The best thing about this new relationship is he's not just her boyfriend, he's her friend too.

There are so many things that could be on Brandon's mind. There is Callie's new relationship with Aaron, for starters. There's also the fact that Jesus isn't speaking to him. He could just be thinking about his kinky encounter with Grace. Then again, he could just be hungry.

Callie was the one to give a painfully aloof Brandon dating advice on Grace. Maybe this time Brandon is returning the favor and giving Callie some advice about Aaron. Brandon and Callie are first and foremost great friends and pretty decent siblings.

OK, Callie and Aaron are that sickeningly sweet couple who makes you gag with all of their cuteness, aren't they? It appears to be the case. To be young, in love, and in the honeymoon stage!

Aaron traded in the motorcycle helmet and leather jacket for a suit and tie. Callie sure as heck better appreciate this new aesthetic as much as we do because we like it. We like it a lot.

Callie and Aaron must be invited to the family dinner with the new neighbors. If so, that's going to be extremely awkward. Stef's old flame, her wife, and her kids all in the same room together? Can we have a seat at that table?

Let's face it, the only way Jude and Noah were going to join the school paper is if it was an underground school paper. You know what they say, a couple who fights systemic oppression together, is a couple who stays together!

Mariana explains to her knew underlings the difference between news and fake news. What happens in underground Journalist Club will not stay in Underground Journalist Club by the time Mariana is through.

Callie and Aaron can't keep their hands off of each other. Their date night may not be nearly as awkward as expected if it ends on this good note. The Aaron and Callie 'ship has officially sailed! Now, if only there was an official 'ship name...
22. Fight the Power - The Fosters Season 5 Episode 3
Mariana has become a full fledged activist for the cause. Her new weapon of choice is the newspaper she's putting together to fight the system. The educational system and bureaucracy at Anchor Beach that is. A girl has to start somewhere.
