Bio
You might recognize Chi McBride from a number of endeavors: his first success in show business arrived with the hit song "He's the Champ" that parodied the marriage of boxer Mike Tyson and actress Robin Givens.
After that, McBride moved to Los Angeles and landed guest spots on the classic sketch comedy In Living Color, as well as NBC's The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. More recently, the actor shined as Steven Harper on the series Boston Public and on Pushing Daisies. He now stars on Human Target.
Chi was born in Chicago and worked as a telephone operator for MCI for a period of time.
