Bio

David Strathairn first started acting in 1980 in the film Return of the Secaucus 7. Since then, he has been in Lovesick, Iceman, At Close Range, Stars and Bars, The Girls Don't Cry...They Get Even, A League of Their Own, A Dangerous Woman, Losing Isaiah, Mother Night, L.A. Confidential, Simon Birch, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Harrison's Flowers, Good Night, and Good Luck, The Miracle Worker, The Bourne Ultimaturm, The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Univited, Howl, and The Tempest.

Strathairn has also made appearances on Miami Vice, The Sopranos, Monk, House, and he currently has a main role on Syfy's Alphas.
