Murray Bartlett joined the cast of Guiding Light on March 9, 2007.
The actor came to Springfield after finishing the Australian tour of "The Boy From Oz" with Hugh Jackman. While in his native country, Bartlett also appeared regularly on the Australian television series Headland. Bartlett's other television work includes appearances on the daytime program All My Children as well as Farscape and McLead's Daughters.
Bartlett graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in his hometown of Sydney. When not on the set of this show, he can be found spending time outdoors, studying psychology, philosophy and meditating.�
