The actress has appeared on numerous primetime and daytime series before Heroes, such as "Third Watch," "Jonny Zero," "100 Centre Street," "All My Children" and "Guiding Light."
She can thank her mother (Hungarian/German) and her father (African-American/ Native-American) for her unique beauty, while also thanking a few universities for helping to teach her the acting craft.
Cypress enjoyed stints over the years at Boston University; Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey; and Mason Gross at Rutgers University.
