Yvonna Kopacz-Wright was nominated for a NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series. She debuted on the show in 2001.

At the age of eighteen, Kopacz-Wright entered a Seventeen magazine modeling contest where her exotic features earned her a trip to the Wilhelmina Agency in New York City.

After modeling for two years, the actress returned to California where she completed two years at the University of California at Berkeley before joining the cast of the daytime drama Days of our Lives.
