90210 fans didn't meet him last season, but we got a taste of Liam's step-father on the season finale, as Matt Lanter's character was dragged away by a pair of military school representatives sent by his displeased step-dad.

Now, it looks like viewers will come face-to-face with the strict guardian in Liam's life.

John Schneider has been cast as Liam's step-father on 90210. The character is a a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon that will clash with his son again, starting on the second episode of season two.

Schneider is a TV veteran whose credits include CSI, Smallville, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Nip/Tuck.

In fact, on the final series listed above, Schneider portrayed a porn producer that slept with Annalynne McCord's character, Eden Lord. That means he's sort of gone to bed with the same gal his step-son banged on 90210.

Creepy.

Following her passionate night with Ryan this spring, Kelly Taylor sort of dropped off the face of 90210.

But the character won't just return next season; she'll put the guidance in guidance counselor, offering advice to Harry on how to deal with Annie and her - as Michael Ausiello puts it - "situation."

Numerous reports and quotes have referenced how a darker Annie will be made into an outcast at West Beverly. Now comes this report.

As previously reported, Rumer Willis is joining the cast of 90210 this fall in the role of Gia.

A lesbian that works at the West Beverly Blaze, Willis' character is only appearing in one episode.

But that doesn't mean her future co-stars can't look forward to the guest-starring stint. Said Shenae Grimes to People:

“Rumer Willis is joining us for a little while. I’m not sure for how long, but we are very excited."

Meanwhile, Grimes also shed a bit of light on her character in season two. It looks like Annie's new dark side will cause her to be an outcast, at least for awhile.

“[There's] kind of a big twist this year. I’ll start out on a different foot then I did last year. I’m not part of the gang for a little while and you’ll see why,” the actress said.

On the first season finale of 90210, Naomi was under the impression that Annie slept with her boyfriend, Liam.

Even though Liam actually did the deed with Naomi's sister, Jen, this isn't exactly a misunderstanding that will be cleared up any time soon. Just ask AnnaLynne McCord.

When asked if her character and Annie would rekindle their friendship this fall, McCord said: "Never. Not going to happen. I'm sorry. I wish."

As for other 90210 season two news, Michael Steger (Navid) told E! News that the show will be making Andrea Zuckerman and Brandon Walsh proud: it will take advantage of a new and improved student newspaper office.

"They're talking about renovating The Blaze newsroom, so it's going to be where everything happens and everybody meets up. They're going to make it very loungey, very comfortable," Steger said.

Viewers will meet Rumer Willis in The Blaze newsroom next season, as the aspiring actress guest stars as a student named Gia.

She's playing a knocked up teenager on an August installment of The Secret Life of an American Teenager.

Soon after that, Rumer Willis will go in the opposite direction and portray a lesbian character on 90210.

As first reported by Access Hollywood, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis has landed the role of Gia on at least one episode of 90210's second season.
