Mekia Cox has landed a recurring role on new NBC drama Undercovers.

Therefore, we didn't see this news coming: Zapt2It reports that the actress will reprise her role as Sasha - the older love interest of Dixon's who faked a pregnancy last year and was called out on it by Debbie - on season two of 90210.

A CW spokesperson confirms the report and says Sasha will return on October 4 with "shocking news to Dixon."

90210 Scoop: Matt Lanter Teases Liam/Annie Kiss, Sibling Complications

Liam will NOT be the gay character revealed on season three of 90210. This much is known.

So, where will that leave the rough-edged ladies' man, whose relationship with Naomi rarely got fully on track last season and who has a clear connection with Annie? Asked about his future with the latter, Matt Lanter teased to TV Guide this week:

"We'll get romantic in the first couple of episodes. We share a kiss."

As exciting as that sounds for Liam/Annie supporters, be warned: the pair won't exactly embark on a happy relationship.

"It gets complicated very fast. There will be a love triangle involving Liam, Annie and Liam's half-brother Charlie (guest star Evan Ross)," Lanter said.

The actor went more in depth regarding this new character, adding:

"Charlie and Liam are estranged. His half-brother hasn't been in his life so they don't have a good relationship. Throw a girl into the mix and it's that much worse."

Why might Annie find a spark with Charlie? Lanter says he's older, more educated and, perhaps most importantly, loves theater.

"Annie's into that," said Lanter. "They have that connection. They can read plays and Shakespeare together, and that's something Liam doesn't have - something more worldly, cultured."

As Dixon screams in a 90210 promo for season three: it's senior year, baby!

More than just an attitude, that quote is also the title of the September 13 third season premiere of the show.

While most fans are buzzing over the spoiler that Teddy will be revealed as gay this fall, other questions remain from the season two finale:

Was Naomi actually raped? How will she react to that incident? What are the chances of a Liam/Annie hook-up? Has the former been punished for her hit-and-run admission? What is the status of Ivy and Dixon? How about Adrianna and Navid?

90210 Gay Storyline, Character: Explained by Producer

This wasn't the plan.

That's what 90210 Rebecca Sinclair admits in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. Going into detail about the major season three spoiler that has already leaked online, the producer explains why she chose to make Teddy Montgomery gay.

In a revelation that isn't comforting to fans that fear the show often makes developments up as it goes - focusing on shock value over consistent, logical storytelling - Sinclair says Trevor Donovan's character was NOT written as gay when he first arrived.

What happened since? Why did she make this decision? Read on. Find out.

Why wait a full season to reveal Teddy's sexuality? [We wanted] to play a coming out story that features a kid we already knew. Instead of his sexuality being the first and defining characteristic, we’ve already gotten a chance to know Teddy before he explores his sexuality. Teddy’s an athlete, he’s a famous guy’s son, he’s blonde and hunky and yes, he also has a sexual orientation and that’s a huge part of his life. In a lot of ways I think that’s more interesting than Teddy is a gay athlete, a gay famous guy’s son and a blonde and hunky gay gentleman.

Was Teddy always meant to be gay? No. We thought he was just a womanizer. But then - and this often happens with characters - we started to wonder about the deeper life of the character. Was he a womanizer, or was he really covering for something?

How will the story unfold? As a top-tier athlete and the son of a famous - and famously womanizing - actor, Teddy has always felt the need to keep up appearances. He’s had trouble reconciling the image that the world has of him with his own true sense of self. And he’s worked hard to repress whatever homosexual feelings he’s had.

But early on in this season, something shakes up the structure of his life. With stability and routine out the window, he has trouble repressing who he really is. He acts impulsively and ends up hooking up with a guy. So it’s less of an epiphany than an impulsive act that sets things in motion.

Huge 90210 Spoiler: Actor Speaks on Gay Character

The mystery is over.

A few weeks ago, 90210 producers admitted that a main male character will be outed as gay on season three of The CW series.

By an overwhelming margin, TV Fanatic readers agreed on who this individual would be. Did they get it right? Below, the actor that plays the character in question opens up about the storyline...

In a new interview, Trevor Donovan reveals that his character of Teddy will come out of the closet this fall.

Here was his reaction when told about the plan:

“It was cool when they came to me with it, I was honored, flattered that they thought I could take on something like this and handle it in the way it’s being written and what we shot so far is done very, very smart, very intelligent. It’s really going to deal with his inner turmoil, the battle, and the struggles for self acceptance that I don’t think gets addressed enough.”

Donovan wouldn't reveal much else about the storyline, but said of the revelation:

"It’s not an immediate thing and it’s not a cut and dry situation; there’s going to be a gray area, a transition.”

When that transition finally does take place, Broadway actor Kyle Riabko will come aboard as Teddy's boyfriend.

The third season of 90210 will feature a death, a legal battle and an openly gay main male character.

But how will it actually kick off its move to Monday nights on September 13? With an earthquake in Beverly Hills.

"We wanted to open the season with an event that has both physical and emotional ramifications for several people," executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman told TV Guide, adding that the tremors will result in a life-altering change for one individual:

"One of them has a very serious injury that takes time to resolve and sort of changes the direction of his or her life."

A large majority of 90210 fans are irate at the show for its plan to reveal one of its male leads as gay.

But while readers debate this upcoming storyline in our 90210 forum, we can announce a few other spoilers for season three. To wit:

Someone will die on the season premiere.
Naomi will win a legal battle with Jen in regard to their finances.
Annie will start a romance with an older guy, one possibly related to Liam.

90210 Character to Come Out of Closet on Season Three!

A major character on 90210 is about to come out of the closet.

In news that producers swear isn't just another ratings-inspired stunt - we're looking at you, Adrianna and Gia! - Entertainment Weekly confirms that one of three male students on the show will reveal himself to be gay this fall.

It will be either Liam, Navid or Teddy.

“We want to address the issue in a real and relatable way,” executive producer Jennie Urman told EW.com.

So, who will it be? It's difficult to say, considering this storyline was clearly concocted out of nowhere. It's hard to believe the show has been dropping clues of any kind over the last season or two.

Our best guess is Teddy. He and Silver have no chemistry; perhaps his ladies' man persona has just been a front; and, well, the guy is sort of metrosexual.

The Kardashians: Kast on 90210!

There's good news for Shenae Grimes: she won't be the worst actress on the season three premiere of 90210!

The CW has announced that all three Kardashian sisters - Khloe, Kourtney and Kim - will guest star on the first September episode of this drama, as it debuts this fall in its new Monday night time slot.

The attention-loving siblings will portray themselves on 90210, though there's no word yet on what brings them into the picture.

Kim has appeared on such network shows as Brothers, How I Met Your Mother and CSI: NY. This appearance will mark Khloe and Kourtney's first gig on a primetime series, but let's face it:

All three are expert script readers, considering their experience on reality television.

90210 Season Three Spoilers: Senior Year Highs and Lows

90210 will return to The CW this fall on Monday nights, airing prior to Gossip Girl. That's an important programming note for fans to remember.

What else will be different about the show and its characters as they embark on season three? The network has sent out the following press release, which gives us a few hints. (TV Fanatic guesses/commentary appear in bold)...

The third season welcomes the West Beverly kids to their senior year of high school. It’s the time of college acceptances and lovers’ rejections, the time of prom dates and promises betrayed, the time of spring break, break-ups and make-ups – but as is always the case in Beverly Hills, it all happens in a world of sun and fun, palm trees and warm sea breezes, success and excess.

From the very beginning of the school year, the lives of the West Beverly group will be shaken up in a way none of them could ever imagine. And from this new starting point, their journeys will take them to staggering new heights and terrifying new depths. We’ll see the rise of a pop sensation (Javier?) and the fall of a group of friends (the gals?), the beginning of a new love (Ivy and Dixon?) and the end of a professional dream (Adrianna?), the creation of an unlikely family (Jen/Ryan/baby?) and the demise of another (the Wilsons?).
