Chrishell Stause just can't quit All My Children. Yet.

The actressr has extended her contract through the end of 2009. Why will she be remaining in Pine Valley through the end of the year? Because she can't get another gig until then anyway.

"Pilot season isn’t starting up until January, so I am not technically going to be missing out on a whole lot, business-wise, and just a few months of my life will actually mean a lot to the storyline," she told Soap Opera Digest, not sounding too enthusiastic about the show.

According to the official website of Stephanie Gatschet, the actress that portrayed Tammy on Guiding Light for six years has landed a recurring role on All My Children.

The actress will portray the character of Madison North. Her first air date is reportedly set for June 19.

Despite rumors that she recently signed a new contract, it looks like Chrishell Stause's run on All My Children is about to come to an end.

Soap Opera Digest reports the 28-year old beauty is set to leave the series when her contract expires this summer, as the extension she signed a few weeks ago was a short one.

Asked about her status, Stause recently wrote her Twitter followers:

"I really wish I could address all the contract rumors. I will have an answer very soon!! As soon as I get clearance I will tell you first."

According to SOAPnet, Amanda Baker will be reprising her role as Babe on All My Children.

The actress will return to the series for a handful of episodes later this year, portraying Babe's ghost. SOAPnet reports:

She'll visit JR, who lord knows is going to need a visit by a friendly face at that point (trust us). But what will ghost Babe have to say about her sister, Marissa, and the other big secret her mama Krystal is keeping?
