Lesli Kay is returning to Oakdale!

The actress, who appeared on As the World Turns from 1997-2004 as Molly Conlan, will star simultaneously on this show and on The Bold and the Beautiful; she'll cross-country from Los Angeles to Brooklyn to shoot.

No word yet on Kay's first airdate back on As the World Turns, but it's expected to take place some time this fall.

Maura West just can't quit As the World Turns. At least not permanently.

The actress will stop by her former program next month, according to a reliable source: the Twitter page fo Cady McClain. Write the actress:

"Maura West's coming back to play with us in Sept! Can't wait! It's gonna be good!"

A rep for the show has confirmed that Alexandra Chando will return to the series as Maddie, a role she last played in 2007.

Actress Kelli Barrett briefly stepped into Maddie's shoes in December 2008, portraying the character until the first week of January 09. No word yet on Chando's return date.

It's the next step for one relationship, and perhaps the beginning of the end for another, on next week's episodes of As the World Turns...

Lynn Herring will remain in Oakdale for the foreseeable future.

As first reported by Carolyn Hinsey of The New York Daily News, the actress "will now air through the fall and share scenes with former General Hospital husbands Jon Lindstrom and Stuart Damon."

Herring has appeared on Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and Port Charles.
