There's still no word on when Chuck will debut on NBC.

But more casting news continues to trickle in about this beloved series. The latest involves a guest star even tougher than Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Fans can look forward to an appearance by Robert Patrick midway through the third season. The actor is best known for playing the T-1000 in Terminator 2. He popped up, as Colonel Merton Bell, on an episode of NCIS this year.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Patrick will portray Col. Keller on Chuck. The character is a mysterious figure from Casey’s past.

We can't wait for this show to return.

A slew of guest stars are set for season three of Chuck.

One of them, Brandon Routh, is best known for starring on the big screen as Superman.

But he actually may not be the most powerful actor coming to this NBC drama, as the show has announced an upcoming cameo by former WWE star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Austin - who was forced to retire from the wrestling ring due to neck injuries - will guest star on the fifth episode this spring. The installment will also feature Kristin Kreuk as Hannah, a woman Chuck meets on a plane to Paris.

No word yet on the role Austin will portray on the series.

As with any Chuck article these days, allow us to preface the following with the unfortunate news that the NBC show won't return until March.

When it does, however, an Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner will guest star for at least one episode.

Armand Assante will portray a foreign dictator that Casey has unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate multiple times. On the small screen, Assante was most recently seen in October Road and NCIS.

Vinnie Jones, the British actor best known for playing tough guys on the big screen, is coming to America.

Jones has been cast on at least one episode of Chuck, as he'll play Karl Stromberg, an expert hit man with a tender side.

The British star is the latest in a long line of guest stars to be announced for the new season of Chuck.

Sadly, it won't air until March, but Angie Harmon, Brandon Routh and Kristin Kreuk will appear on the hit dramedy when it returns.
