So, how will Desperate Housewives, Fringe and Criminal Minds kick off their new seasons this September? TV Guide's latest Mega Buzz column sheds some light on each drama's season premiere...

• On Desperate Housewives: Bree's emotional affair with Karl will take a big step: the pair will start to "sext" each other (that's teenage lingo for sending dirty text messages back and forth); also, a character will be strangled.
• On Fringe (pictured): One character's alliances will be called into question - the answer, according to sources, will be "heartbreaking" for viewers.
• On Criminal Minds: The premiere picks up right where the May cliff-hanger left off: with Hotch at the hands of a gun-wielding Reaper.

On tonight's new episode of Criminal Minds, actress Paget Brewster plays a key role, as a rogue priest conjures up demons from Emily Prentiss' past. Weird.

Brewster gave TV Guide a preview of the episode, titled "Demonology." Here are excerpts from an interview she gave the publication:

TVGuide.com: Might "Demonology" change the way we look at Prentiss?
Brewster: Possibly. She has a past and it's a little controversial, as to how she knows this victim, a friend of hers from when she was a teenager in Rome. She asks Hotch, "Can I look into this?" And then she uses her position as a federal agent questionably in seeking out the truth. And there is something that happened to her as a kid that..... Well, it's risky what they wrote. We'll see how people respond.

TVGuide.com: Have you shot the episode with Alex O'Loughlin yet?
Brewster: Oh, Alex.... Alex sets all the girls into a twitter. Various departments were vying for Alex's attention. We just finished that this past Saturday morning, at 5:30 am.

TVGuide.com: Are there plans for another explosive season finale?
Brewster: I haven't heard anything yet. We're doing 26 episodes, and most shows do 22, so we should have finished two episodes ago. It's a grind.

Alex O'Loughlin will be returning to CBS.

The former Moonlight star will guest star on Criminal Minds in April.

A show representative told TV Guide that the actor will portray a serial killer later this season. In an interesting twist for the show, the installment will be told from the point of view of the bad guy himself, as his latest crime and its ensuing manhunt unfold.

A serial kller that murders luxury car owners in California is the subject of tomorrow night's case on Criminal Minds.

Here's a preview for the episode titled "Normal."

Tonight, on Criminal Minds, a serial killer feels Megan's wrath.

There's great news on the way for Hotch fans: Episode 18 will center on a resurgent serial killer known as the Watchman.

Turns out Hotch covered the original case when he was just a young agent. Viewers will receive some insight into how this character grew into the emotionally-unavailable man he is today.

On tonight's Criminal Minds, a pickup artist is suspected of using a lot more than just cheesy lines.

Emily and Jordan go undercover to nab the possible serial killer in an episode titled "52 Pickup."

Coming up on a future episode of Criminal Minds...

Viewers will get a look at one of Rossi's criminal psychology classes, while also meeting some of his eager acolytes. According to E! Online, the kids are unaware of something important:
