Dancing with the Stars Recap: Mya Rules!

Even the most dedicated Dancing with the Stars fan must admit: it's been a boring season.

The show overloaded itself with Z-list celebrities, none of whom brought much personality to the table. Moreover, Mya has simply ruled since day one.

The singer and partner Dmitry Chaplin dominated the stage again last night, as the remaining quartet of semifinalists actually performed three numbers. Read through the results now.

Always the Best

When the final score had been handed out, we were back to where we started: with Mya as the heavy favorite.

Check out the leaderboard from the evening below and try to make an argument for any other contestant. We dare you.

  • Mya and Dmitry: 87
  • Joanna and Derek: 81
  • Kelly and Louis: 78
  • Donny and Kym: 74

Also known as: the Mya and Dmitry show!

We finally witnessed the first perfect score of season nine last night, as the favorite strutted her stuff with one Ballroom routine and one Lation performance. She clearly separated herself from the pack.

Dancing with the Stars Recap: Week Six

Yawn.

Another week, another mediocre set of performances from the season nine cast of Dancing with the Starts. The group lacks both big names and any dominant celebrities. That's a killer combination.

Last night, the remaining nine couples took on the waltz or the jitterbug, along with a group mamba. No one really stood out; and, incredibly, no one has earned a perfect 30 yet.

Dancing with the Stars Gets Hot, Hot, Hot!

Contestants were asked to perform one of four new styles this week: country two-step, lambada, bolero and Charleston.

Really, though, only one style truly stood out; as Joanna Krupa and Mya showed viewers why the lambada is known as the "forbidden dance." It didn't hurt that Krupa's partner, Derek Hough, went shirtless for the performance.

Read a full recap of who chose which routine, and how the judges reacted to it, right now.

Dancing with the Stars Season Premiere Recap: Men Take the Floor

The three-night extravaganza that is the season nine premiere of Dancing with the Stars got underway last night.

Ignoring good manners, the men went before the women, as eight hopeful D-listers took to the stage and performed Latin and Ballroom routines.

To the dismay of Democrats, Tom DeLay didn't make a total fool of himself; although Cowboys fans that are distraught over the team's loss this week weren't comforted by Michael Irvin's moves. Here's a rundown of the opening evening's scores:

  • Aaron Carter & Karina Smirnoff (below): 32
  • Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson: 30

  • Chuck Liddell & Anna Trebunskaya : 22

  • Ashley Hamilton & Edyta Sliwinska: 19
  • Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova: 19
