Dancing with the Stars Elimination: Joanna Krupa

Despite her second-place showing on Monday night's performance show, Joanna Krupa was sent home from Dancing with the Stars this week.

The gorgeous model handled her elimination a lot better than the TV Fanatic staff did.

"It's been such an amazing experience and I've grown as a person," sahe said. "Thank you to the judges. Thank you for giving me the opportunity. I had a great partner."

Krupa's elimination leaves Mya, Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne remaining for next week's two-part, threeway finale.

Who do you think will win? Who do you wanna see win? Chime in now, as we bury our heads in mourning over America's mistake in sending this beauty home.

Dancing with the Stars Cuts Aaron Carter

From spoiled pop star to mature, respected dancer.

Aaron Carter came a long way on season nine of Dancing with the Stars - but he didn't go far enough to earn the crystal ball trophy.

Carter and Karina Smirnoff were eliminated from the competition this week, but the former reacted as humbly as one can. He said:

"One thing I will always remember and take from this competition is definitely the lessons that I've learned. I've grown so much with your compliments and your criticisms, so thank you. Thank you for helping me to be able to grow on this show."

Quarterfinalists

Who knows what the future holds for Carter, but we can't remember anyone receiving more praise from Len Goodman upon his departure.

"I think the dedication that you have shown week after week is absolutely fantastic. I think you're an inspiration to all young people that anything is possible, and if you were my son, I would be so proud of you. But more important, you be proud of yourself, because you've been great."

The semifinalists are now set: Joanna, Kelly, Mya and Donny will each take on two dances next week.

Michael Irvin and Mark Dacascos Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

It took longer than it should have, but Dancing with the Stars sent its two least talented contestants home last night.

No offense, Michael Irvin and Mark Dacascos, but you lasted longer on the competition than you deserved to. The former was gracious in defeat, at least, saying:

"Thank you. Last night was a great night, and to see the audience here standing up as a way of saying they appreciate the hard work, it means a great deal to a lot of people right now, with the economy going the way it has."

Dancers

As for Dacascos, he expressed a new appreciation for professional dancers upon learning of his elimination:

"Certainly much harder than it looks on television - it's a lot easier to watch it than do it."

He'll have the chance to see if that's the case next week, as Kelly, Donny, Aaron, Mya and Joanna Krupa each perform a pair of individual dances. Who do you want to see win?

Melissa Joan Hart and Louie Vito: Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Seriously, America, what hold does Michael Irvin have over you?

Despite another lackluster performance from the football legend, he'll stick around to bore audiences again next week. That's because viewers voted off two different celebrities last night, as the show said goodbye to Melissa Joan Hart and Louie Vito.

Eliminated!

"That's the game," said the actress, tacking a nationwide guilt trip on to her reaction: "It's tough, I was hoping to make it one more week. My husband was coming next week with my kids."

Said Vito:

"It's a lot harder than it looks, dealing with frustration, nerves, because you're doing something you're not comfortable with in front of millions of people. Every day I got out there and danced, I was proud of myself just for getting out there."

Dancing with the Stars Pays Tribute to Michael Jackson, Bids Farewell to Natalie Coughlin

In an impressive tribute that cynics might write off as a ratings stunt, Dancing with the Stars honored Michael Jackson last night.

Sister La Toya was actually on hand to introduce the routine the show's professionals put together. In the video below, they shower praise on MJ and then honor him in the best way they can:

Swimmer Natalie Coughlin was eliminated, meanwhile, as we continue to wonder why Michael Irvin is still around.

Incredibly, he didn't even find himself in the bottom two last night. Aaron Carter was stuck in that position. Soon after she was given the boot, Coughlin said:

"I loved this so much. I guess I didn't show it, how much I loved it, but I really did. I'm sorry."

Tom DeLay Drops Out of Dancing with the Stars, Debbie Mazar Eliminated

There were no real surprises on this week's Dancing with the Stars results show.

Debbie Mazar was the only celebrity voted off, as she and Maksim Chmerkovskiy never really found chemistry as a couple. At least this removes the awkwardness of Chmerkovskiy and ex-fiancee Karina Smirnoff on the same set.

"I definitely know a few more steps and I've had a great time," the actress said. "I've loved every moment of it."

Meanwhile, word had leaked out hours before the show that Tom DeLay would be forced to drop out due to stress fractures in his feet. The rumor became reality on air last night.

"If you can't practice, you'll make a fool out of yourself out there, and I don't want to do that to Cheryl," the Texas-born congressman said.

Sadly, Democrats - and viewers in general - will no longer have this to laugh at...
