Kevin Spirtas will soon reprise the role of Dr. Craig Wesley on the NBC drama for a three-episode arc.

According to Daytime Confidential, here's how his return will be set up:

On an upcoming episode, Kate Roberts will nearly succeed in her attempt to kill Chloe, landing the character in a coma. As a result, Craig comes back for a few days to hold vigil.

New jobs and big birthday parties highlight the week ahead on Days of Our Lives...

David Leisure, last seen as Roger on The Young and the Restless, has agreed to to join the cast of Days of Our Lives. He'll play the show's new district attorney.

"He'll have a few cases on his plate," Executive Producer Ken Corday told Soap Opera Digest.

Wally Kurth (formerly Sam on As he World Turns and Ned on General Hospital will to reprise his popular role as Justin Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives.

The actor was last seen in Salem in 18 years ago.

As first reported by Soap Opera Digest, Kurth's first airdate is August 10.
