Dexter Sneak Peeks: "Hungry Man"

Thanksgiving arrives a few days early this Sunday, as various Dexter characters celebrate in various ways.

Angel and Laguerta are stuck in the office during the holiday, though neither seems to mind.

Rita, meanwhile, is hosting the big dinner - but is doing so without Dexter (but with Elliot!) in the second clip below.

As for our favorite mass murderer? He's not featured in either of these scenes. That doesn't bode well for his marriage, or for the Trinity Killer...

Dexter Spoilers: On the Trinity Killer and Rita

Frank Lundy seemed like a very smart man during his time on Dexter.

So smart, in fact, that the assumption is his continued obession with The Trinity Killer eventually got Lundy whacked by John Lithgow's character.

But James Remar (Harry) implied to E! News this week that Lundy's assessment of the mass murderer may have been off. Might he not kill in threes?

"There's an element to the Trinity Killer that has as yet gone undetected," Remar said this week. "Trinity is inaccurate about the pattern of his kills... That's going to come out really toward the end of the season."

Asked about the revelation that there's more to The Trinity Killer than originally suspected, Julie Benz (Rita) played ignorant.

But what about the rumor that Rita steps out on her husband with her newly single neighbor?

"I plead the Fifth," Benz teased. "Rita's not as perfect as people think she thinks she is."

Consider us properly intrigued.

Dexter Sneak Peeks: "Road Kill"

How will Dexter recover from taking an innocent life?

On the next episode of Dexter, he'll grow even more focused on the one life he knows isn't remotely innocent: Trinity's.

In the clip below, courtesy of "Road Kill," Dexter pays the Mitchells a visit, sees a short fuse on Arthur and learns of his immediate plans...

Dexter Sneak Peek: "Slack Tide"

On Sunday's new episode of Dexter, everyone's favorite mass murderer will attempt to get even closer to Arthur Mitchell.

What makes this storyline so compelling is the fact that Dexter clearly wants to carve Trinity up, but he also wants to legitimately learn from him.

John Lithgow's performance, meanwhile, gives us the chills. Is he on to Dexter? Or is his benevolent persona the real thing? We'll be clued to our screen through December, itching to find out.

Check out a clip from "Slack Tide" below and remember to visit TV Fanatic after the episode ends for a full recap and review, complete with the latest Dexter quotes and more...

Jennifer Carpenter on Dexter Season Finale: "Everything Changes"

Through five episodes of season four, a lot has gone down on Dexter.

Frank Lundy has been killed; Rita has discovered Dexter's apartment; Angel and Laguerta have gotten it on, numerous times.

But star Jennifer Carpenter (Deb) tells TV Guide Magazine that more major changes are on the way. Simply put, she said:

“Everything changes at the end of this season. Dexter will never be the same.”

The actress added that she had to sneak onto the set to see what went down on the season finale (airing on December 13. Can she reveal anything about it?

“Let’s just say maybe all of our trailers won’t be there next year.”

Whoa. Does this mean the show might actually kill off Rita, as many have speculated? We'll need to tune in to find out.

Dexter Clips from "If I Had a Hammer"

I need a partner, Dexter... Unless you can be completely honest with me, I don't want to do this anymore.

Are you sure about that, Rita? You may make this statement on the next new episode of Dexter, but, trust us: you do NOT want complete honesty from your husband.

On Sunday's "If I Had a Hammer," Dexter and Rita give marriage counseling a try. You can imagine how good our favorite mass murderer is at opening up about his feelings, right?

See for yourself in this clip:

Meanwhile, after this article's jump, watch Dexter receive a phone call about Trinity's latest victim, while Deb continues to deal with the shooting fallout.

Dexter Spoiler Pic: Who the Heck Is This?!?

A major character will soon be killed on Dexter.

But star Julie Benz (Rita) makes it sounds (or look, to be specific) as though another shocker is also on the way.

We just have no idea what that will be.

On her Twitter account, Benz posted the following message this week: Shooting season finale.follow @chrisvroman...remember this face. Big reveal in december.

This is the face that accompanies those words. Any idea who it is or what this might mean for the show?

According to Julie Benz, there will be a "shocking ending" to this season of Dexter.

Before we can get there, however, the show will surprise viewers with hints toward a significant death this Sunday night.

We've heard strong rumors about who will bite the dust, but reports indicate fans should pay close attention to the final few minutes of the installment "Dex Takes a Holiday."

Julie Benz Teases "Shocking Ending" to Season Four of Dexter

As Dexter's wife, and the mother to his son, Julie Benz plays more of a role on season four of this Showtime hit than ever before.

That's fine with the actress, who told Cinemablend she wondered "who should would have to kill" in order to be cast as Rita on Dexter after she originally read the pilot script.

Among other topics covered in the interview: her character's role this season; and the shocking conclusion to come. Here are a couple excerpts:

On Rita's role: At the beginning of the season we see Rita has it all. I mean, she has everything she’s ever wanted. She has the perfect husband, the great kids, the new baby, the dream house in the suburbs but you know, just like anything, nothing great lasts forever. We have an amazingly shocking ending this season. I mean, it’s so shocking that – it’s just shocking is all I can say. It shocked the whole cast.

On upcoming storylines: I don’t want to give away any spoilers but you know, you definitely see worlds collide; everybody’s world collides in this season.
