This might be the most exciting piece of casting news yet for the new season:

Ray Wise is coming aboard Dollhouse in the potentially recurring role of Howard, an intelligent higher-up in the organization. Entertainment Weekly was the first to report the news.

We loved the veteran actor during his two-year stint as Lucifer on The CW’s Reaper. He's still best known, of course, for his long-ago role on Twin Peaks.

Dollhouse premieres its second season on September 25. Wise joins an impressive list of guest stars that includes: Jamie Bamber, Keith Carradine, Alexis Denisoff, and Summer Glau.

Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon has made no secret that he'd love for Firefly alum Summer Glau to appear on his new show.

Now, it looks like Whedon has gotten his wish.

Fox has confirmed that the actress, who guest-starred last year on The Big Bang Theory, will come aboard Dollhouse on the second season's fifth episode. She'll play a role in at least two episodes total.

Glau will portray a character named Bennett that shares a connection with both Echo and another individual associated with the Dollhouse.

It will be a busy fall for Keith Carradine.

The Academy Award winner will reprise his role as special agent Frank Lundy on Dexter.

Now, we've received word that the actor will also play a character on season two of Dollhouse. He'll portray a powerful businessman named Matthew Harding. No word yet on how many episodes Carradine will appear in.

This fall's Caprica isn't the only place Battlestar Galactica will be able to go to relive the past.

With Tahmoh Penikett already portraying FBI agent Paul Ballard on Dollhouse, and Jamie Bamber set for a guest-starring appearance, it's now been announced that Michael Hogan will also show up on season two of the Fox drama.

Best known as Colonel Tigh on Battlestar, Hogan play a customer of the Dollhouse that has used its services in the past.  No word yet on his airdate.

Hogan will also appear later this season on Warehouse 13. He'll play Myka's father on that SyFy series.

Geek and hunk alert!

Following the news that Joss Whedon would bring many of his favorite actors on board for guest-starring stints on Dollhouse, E! News reports that a Battlestar Galactica alum will appear on the show this fall.

Jamie Bamber - forever known as Lee Adama to fans of the iconic Sci-Fi series - will play a pivotal role on the second season premiere of the Fox drama in September.

According to E! sources, Bamber's character will be prominently involved in an engagement Echo and her new handler, Paul Ballard, have been assigned to. For now, this appears to be just a one-episode appearance by Bamber.
