Coming Soon to Glee: Baby Drama Galore!

As Glee sings and jokes its way to its first season halfway point, viewers are in for a lot more than heartfelt ballads and catchy group music.

On the December 9 mid-season finale, look for the show's baby drama to finally be resolved: Will will discover Terri's fake pregnancy, while Puck will be exposed as the father of Quinn's unborn child.

What will this mean for various relationships? We can't say. That's why it's called a cliff-hanger, people.

Scouting the Competition

But Lea Michele can say a lot about what's to come for her character.

She told Entertainment Weekly that tension will soon arise between Rachel and Mercedes.

“They have been setting up a competitive thing between those two, and we deal with it. Rachel can’t always get the best part.”

Nor can she get Puck. Michele said there's no future plans for Rachel and the show's Jewish crooner to hook up again, much to her chagrin.

"I pushed and fought for a Puck-Rachel storyline because I love Mark so much and I wanted to work with him more. I thought Rachel should get some action. She has needs. She can’t be waiting all season for Finn. I thought it could be really different and not a pairing that people would expect... I don’t know of it coming up in the near future, but fingers crossed.”

We'll give Rachel some action! Oops. Did we just write that out loud?

Glee Clips: Hot for Teacher!

He may not have a six-pack or Robert Pattinson-like hair, but let's face it: Will Schuester is a stud!

Despite their occasional clashes, Rachel comes to this same realization on Wednesday's new episode, "Ballads."

Paired with her teacher, singing a duet on a classic love song, Rachel stares longingly into Will's eyes (while Finn thinks about her butt). Check out the clip below:

Crushing on Will

Viewers also learn that Rachel isn't the first student to crush on Mr. Schuester.

Sarah Drew guest stars on the episode. She says of her role:

"I play a character named Suzy Pepper who has an insane, absurd, psychotic crush on Mr. Schuester. I don't want to give too much away because it's just hilarious, but she's kind of stalkerish and creepy."

See for yourself after the jump.

Coming to Glee: Quinn's Family, A New Relationship

Following a two-week hiatus, Glee returns with a new episode tonight.

It will include a diva-off between Kurt and Rachel over who gets to take the lead on "Defying Gravity," which should be enough to guarantee record ratings on its own.

But E! News recently spoke to show sources that confirmed other exciting storylines and numbers to come on the comedy.

Mercedes and Artie

Here's a look at a few likely spoilers:

A New Relationship: "[This week's] ep kind of sparks it," Kevin McHale (Artie) said of a burgeoning romance. "I think Tina and Artie will be together. I think they will be a couple for a long time."

Parents On the Way: Said a source: "Next week we'll meet Quinn's mom and dad - and so will Finn. The glee club has a new assignment to use songs to express feelings they can't otherwise get out, and needless to say, the Fabrays don't appreciate Finn's interpretation of said assignment.  We also get to spend a little more time with Finn's mom."

As always, we'll recap and review tonight's installment, adding all new singles to our Glee music section. Enjoy the return of the most entertaining show on TV!

Glee Sneak Peeks: Defying Gravity, Dancing with Myself

Finally!

Certain members of the TV Fanatic staff are major New York Yankees fans, but even we would have preferred to have watched Will Schuester insted of Derek Jeter on Wednesday nights over the last two weeks.

But the World Series is over and Glee returns with a new episode this week.

During the installment, Will hands the group lyrics to its next song. As the clip below depicts, Kurt and Rachel couldn't be happier about the selection:

Meanwhile, Artie gets his first solo. Watch the wheelchair-bound singer dance with himself after the jump.

Mark Salling Speaks on Glee Relationships, Future Storylines

As the character of Puck on Glee, Mark Salling has gone from a stereotypical jock to a (mostly) enthusastic member of the singing group.

We're forever jealous of the actor for getting to make out with Lea Michele a couple weeks ago, but we're willing to let that slide in exchange for insight into future storylines.

That's exactly what Salling delivered in a recent TV Guide interview. A few excerpts from it...

How will Finn react when he learns Puck knocked up Quinn?
I think he'll be devastated. He's invested a lot already into the idea of fathering this child. Hopefully, Puck will step up to the plate and practice what he preaches and walk the walk.

Quinn and Puck

Will the baby drama affect the glee club?
It can't be good for us. Some people can't be around each other anymore. It might throw the dynamic off; it's not a good thing. That's what happens when you dip your pen in the company ink.

Can you give us a second half season preview?
The writers are seeing what worked and what didn't with the first 13 [episodes]. I know we'll have more themed episodes, like the Madonna one. There are a lot of surprises to come.

Glee (finally!) returns with a new episode next week.

Glee Co-Star Promises More of Finn and Rachel

For weeks, it's all most Glee fans have been hoping: a relationship between Finn and Rachel.

But the show took a surprising turn last episode, as Rachel actually made out with Puck and many viewers grew enamored by this all-Jewish combination.

Suddenly, a battle between Team Finn and Team Puck has broken out. At whom do you wanna see Rachel bat her lovely eyes?

According to Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Puck will help out his (secret) baby mama on the next new episode, which airs on November 11. He even comes close to kissing Quinn, which leaves the following tease for Rinn (Fachel?) supporters:

"All I can say is Finn definitely has some major decisions to make, and Finn and Quinn aren't exactly on the best of terms. So you may see some more of that [between Finn and Rachel]."

Which side are you on, Gleeks? Team Finn or Team Puck?

Glee Spoilers: A Scheming Sue Sylvester

While Glee won't return until November with new episodes, the short hiatus should at least give Will time to think about ways to combat a newly-inspired Sue Sylvester.

After all, for those that missed this week's installment, Sue got humiliated by her lover/co-worker and this is how she now "sees" it: her mission is to bring down the glee club!

How will she accomplish that task? Matthew Morrison tells TV Guide:

"Sue's going to give our set list to the other teams [at sectionals]. They're going to do our songs... before we do them, so it's going to make us look like we're copying them."

Caught off guard, the William McKinley singers must step up their game.

"We have to do this impromptu thing and fly by the seat of our pants," said Morrison, who wouldn't reveal anything else. We can say this, however:

Rachel will sing a version of Wicked's "Defying Gravity" when the show returns. We can't wait!

Glee Clip, Photos from "Mash-Up"

On Wednesday's new episode of Glee, Will busts a move.

We didn't think it could get much cooler than that, but Puck might prove us wrong in the clip below. He pays "tribute to a musical Jewish icon" by busting out an acoustic version of "Sweet Caroline." Watch and smile:

We've also collected a slew of photos from the installment titled "Mash-Up." Click on each below and be sure to return to TV Fanatic after the hour airs for a full review/recap...

Glee Clips: Puck Flirting with Rachel, Will Busting a Move

No way Rachel will hook up with Puck, right? Right?!?

Please, tell us this is right, Fox.

On next week's new episode of Glee, there's clearly something in the air between these two characters. Said Lea Michele about the flirtation:

"Rachel's definitely got a spot in her heart for Finn, but let's just say that Finn's not the only guy Rachel gets to have fun with this season."

Watch the clip below from "Mash-Up" and you'll see to whom Michele may be referring:

The Glee Cast Keeps Holding On, Performs Avril Lavigne Hit

Last episode, the Glee club was divided into men and women, as each side performed a mash up of songs against one another.

On next week's new episode, however, the genders come back together and create a unique version of an Avril Lavigne hit, "Keep Holding On."

Without giving away any key spoilers, the performance means a lot to Quinn, whose pregnancy is featured throughout the hour.

Follow this article's jump for a clip of the club's rendition.
