Glee Round Table: "Mash-Up"

Puck and Rachel?

A soft side to Sue?

A near-kiss between Will and Emma?

There was plenty to analyze on last night's episode of Glee, so let's get right to it in this edition of the Round Table!

More surprising of a hook-up: Puck and Rachel, or Sue and anyone?
A. Cheerio: OMG, Puck and Rachel! I'm a loyal Jew, but I still didn't see this make-out session coming. Come on, Rach. You can do so much better.

BerryTalented: I had no idea Sue had a loving bone in her body. Who knew Battleship was the way to her heart? Or to other body parts? Yech. I just grossed myself out.

FinnFan: What about Sue and Will?!? They didn't get together, but they did get along. I loved seeing those two dance together. I can't get enough of their scenes.

What was your favorite musical number from the episode?
A. Cheerio: Many great options, but I'll go with Will's version of the Thong Song.

BerryTalented: They didn't play a lot of it, but I loved Rachel's rendition of "What a Girl Wants." As my moniker might give away, I think that girl is ultra talented.

FinnFan: D'uh! Bust a Move! Just when I thought this show couldn't get any cooler, it busted out with one of my favorite songs from back in the day. I can only hope this leads to a Young M.C. comeback!

Glee Round Table: "Vitamin D"

Welcome to this edition of the Glee Round Table!

Following another outstanding episode of this show, our writers are excited to get together and analyze various aspects of "Vitamin D." From Ken's proposal to the competing genders, let's get right to it...

Will Emma really marry Ken?
A. Cheerio: I hope not, for one simple reason: it's better to be alone for the right reasons than be with someone for the wrong reasons.

BerryTalented: I doubt it, and this development upset me, but how funny was her acceptance??? She's marry Ken, as long as she can keep her own name; live alone; and not see him outside of school. I love Emma!

FinnFan: No. You gotta figure Will is gonna leave Terri for Emma for some point (I certainly would!) and how many divorces can one show feature?!?

Who won: The boys or the girls?
A. Cheerio: Fans can go vote on this themselves. But I gotta give it to the girls, if only for Rachel's pre-performance quote: "If there's two things America needs right now it is sunshine and optimism... also angels."

BerryTalented: Gotta show the guys some love here. They set the bar so high that they forced the girls to try and meet it. The women almost did, but their routine didn't match the example set originally.

FinnFan: All I know is that society lost. I can't believe high school students are now following the lead of morally corupt baseball players and taking performance enhancing drugs. It's tragic. (Just kidding: the boys totally won!)

Glee Round Table: "Preggers"

Welcome to the latest edition of the Glee Round Table!

As usual, our staff has come together to analyze the latest episode of this musical comedy, an episode that featured a star-making performance by Chris Colfer as Kurt. Let's delve right into the weekly round table discussion...

Do you like Rachel?
A. Cheerio: Not right now, no. Talk about not appreciating what you have! Compare where she was when the series kicked off to now. No glee club to glee club star! Will has given her a chance to show off her one true talent, but the team will never go far if she sings all the solos.

BerryTalented: As my witty name suggests, I still thinks she's Berry talented. But there's no doubt Rachel has to calm down. She has to look at this as a marathon, not a sprint, and see the long-term plans Will has in mind.

FinnFan: Of course I do. She's clearly the best in the group. Will should build the choir around her, like the Patriots and Tom Brady or the Lakers and Kobe Bryant. It's worked out well for those teams.

What was your favorite Sue Sylvester quote from the episode?
A. Cheerio: Man. Can we go back in time and give Sue a spin-off instead of Addison Montgomery? She cracks me up all the time. From last night, I'll go with: I'll often yell at homeless people: 'Hey, how is that homelessness working out for you? Try not being homeless for once.'

BerryTalented: It's short, it's simple, it's hilarious: "Yes, we cane!"

FinnFan: Haha, I laught out loud at pretty much anything actress Jane Lynch says. My favorite this week was her delivery of: "Not everyone is gonna have the walnuts to take a pro-littering stance. But I will not rest until every inch of our fair state is covered in garbage."

Glee Round Table: "Acafellas"

Another week, another fabulous episode of Glee, another Round Table from our staff of writers.

Soon after each installment of this great Fox series, we'll analyze various plot points, songs and developments. We encourage readers to chime in with comments and answer the questions below, as well. Let's get to it!

What was your favorite performance from the episode?
A. Cheerio: It's gotta be "Poison." Did anyone else see the Scrubs episode from years ago when Turk danced along to this same song? The Acafellas may have done an even better job.

BerryTalented: Clearly Mercedes' version of "Bust Your Windows." Yikes. Remind me to never get on her side. What a great voice, and what an intense star when she gets mad!

FinnFan: I'm sorry, but Finn AND Will singing a rendition of "I Wanna Sex You Up"?!?!? It's like they were reading my mind. Easy winner.

Glee RT

Who did you feel worse for in the episode: Kurt or Sandy?
A. Cheerio: Kurt. I still have tears in my eyes from his admission to Mercedes. What made that storyline so upsetting was just how much it rings true. I'm sure there are countless teenage boys struggling with the same issue.

BerryTalented: Definitely Kurt. I felt badly for both him and Mercedes in that scene. They are both outcasts and both so symbolic of how difficult high school can be for those that aren't attractive or aren't jocks. Sadly, it brought back memories for me.

FinnFan: The obvious answer would be Kurt, but I'll be different and go with Sandy. While played for most comedic purposes, that was actually a very sad moment, when Josh Groban went off on Sandy. It's tough when we realize our role models are not what they seem.

Glee Round Table: "Showmance"

After each Glee episode, our staff will gather and analyze the latest storylines, songs and quotes from this unique Fox show.

With that in mind, let's get right to this week's Glee Round Table! What did we like and dislike the most about "Showmance?" Take it away, TV Fanatic writers...

What was your favorite performance from the episode?
A. Cheerio: I loved "Push It." It really was pretty raunchy, but I guess it's hard for the FCC to have a problem when a glee club is the one gyrating on stage.

BerryTalented: OMG, Rachel's rendition of "Take a Bow" was amazing. I felt like I was watching Cosette from Les Miserables sing "On My Own."

FinnFan: How can anyone say anything but "Gold Digger" for their answer?!? Matthew Morrison (Will) actually rapped! I think Kanye has competition.

Glee RT

What was your favorite Sue Sylvester quote from the episode?
A. Cheerio: I can only select one? I'll go with: "That was the most offensive thing I've seen in 20 years of teaching — and that includes an elementary school production of Hair."

BerryTalented: Gotta be Sue's random cry from female equality when Will told her to "hold on a second" and she replied: "I resent being told to hold on to anything."

FinnFan: When Quinn said she'd get her boyfriend back if the glee club broke up and Sue dryly responded: "I don't care so much about that."
