Cynthia Watros: Coming to House

While Lost fans are excited about the rumored return of Cynthia Watros to the show this season, the actress likely won't reprise her role as Libby for very long.

That's because she's landed a new gig on another network, signing on for multiple episodes of House.

Insiders have confirmed to Michael Ausiello that Watros has been cast as Wilson’s ex-wife (his first of three, that is). She's poised to re-enter the doctor's life... as his new girlfriend!

The actress will debut in April. Her character's relationship with Wilson will mark his first romantic entanglement since Amber died two years ago.

Jennifer Morrison: Returning to House!

Surprising, great casting news out of Fox today:

Sources have confirmed that Jennifer Morrison is returning to House. While the context of Cameron's return to Princeton Plainsboro are being kept under wraps, an insider told Michael Ausiello straight out:

"You will see Cameron again on House before the end of the season.”

Morrison recently joined the Broadway revival of The Miracle Worker. It's unclear when she'll tape her House episode(s), but producers never did rule out a return for her character.

For now, it's just nice to hear that the actress - who left the show suddently and amidst a cloud of controversy - hasn't taped her final scene.

Luddy Sex Scene: Coming to House!

We're very sorry, Huddy fans.

But there's still a hot and heavy dose of Lucas and Cuddy to come on House.

In a discussion with TV Guide this week, Michael Weston talks about his role on the Fox drama as Cuddy's new boyfriend, along with a steamy scene that will turn the stomach of a certain, cantankerous doctor on staff...

On his character's return: After the first few episodes I did last year, there were rumblings of a romance with Cuddy. I think they decided to bring back someone that offered something to Lisa's character but also face off with Hugh. Hugh and I have a really good chemistry, and I think it was really fun for them to have someone that could sort of be a foil to House. Lucas is one of the only people who can give it right back to him.

On the love triangle: I think Cuddy has a thing for House, and Lucas sort of has a thing for House — in terms of his friendship. They get along like buddies, and they're both intrigued by the others' profession. And they both can use each other, which they do. It's almost like it's a love triangle with this ever-present third party. It's an intellectual ménage à trois.

On an upcoming sex scene: The Cuddy-Lucas affair gets steamier. Those are always moments that are awkward [for actors]. You're still getting to know each other and there's like five dudes holding equipment, looking at you thinking, "What's up? Yeah, I see you there naked. That's cool."

House Presents: A Day in the Life of Wilson

On February 8, House will dedicate an entire hour to the life of Lisa Cuddy.

Prior to that, though, it will do the same for the best sidekick on television, Dr. James Wilson.

Earlier this year, previewing Monday's episode ("Wilson"), executive producer Katie Jacobs told E! News:

"We have this upcoming episode where House is to Wilson as Wilson is usually to House. Like he'll be in the middle of something and House will drop by, or he'll go see House in the middle of a differential diagnosis meeting, and we'll never even know what they were working on. I'm excited about it."

So are we. Check out photos from the installment below:

As always, we'll recap and review the episode after it ends, adding new House quotes to TV Fanatic.

For now, check out the opening three minutes from "Wilson" below...

Lisa Edelstein Speaks on Upcoming Cuddy-Based Episode of House

TV is giving us many reasons to look forward to 2010:

Now, viewers have another reason to set their DVR: on February 8, Fox will air a Cuddy-themed episode of House. Dr. Lisa Cuddy herself (Lisa Edelstein) spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming installment...

Friends and Co-Workers

On a day in the life of her character: What’s interesting about it is it lets you know what her world is like when you don’t see her. When House does what he does. You see everything she has to deal with, and you get a better understanding of where she’s coming from.

On the episode, outside the office: There’s some sexual activity, there’s some partial nudity…  The writer, Tommy Moran, said he couldn’t imagine writing an episode without having me take a shower.

On Cuddy and Lucas: You know, we all have to go through things that we have to go through in life. And I think Cuddy is trying to explore having a relationship that would be considered normal. I myself have done this. It doesn’t work. But you have to try.

On the future of Huddy: Their timing just really sucks. As soon as he was emotionally prepared to give [a relationship] a shot, she kind of gave up. But I’m rooting for them.

House Hullabaloo: Chase to Deck the Boss!

As House fans know by now, the countdown to Jennifer Morrison's exit from the series is on.

The actress will make her final appearance as Cameron on November 16.

A week later, according to a House source that spoke to Michael Ausiello, Chase reacts to the departure of his wife... by punching out House!

“Chase is very clearly off his game and struggling with the loss of Cameron," the insider said.

What prompts the throwdown? House unfavorably compares Chase to his wife, causing the accented doctor to blow his top and deck the boss.

Hey, it could be worse for House: Chase could give him the wrong medicine and kill him. Viewers know much he enjoys doing that!

Taub, Thirteen to Return to House

While Jennifer Morrison's Cameron is definitely on her way out, two other House regulars will soon be returning to the show.

E! News is reporting that Taub and Thirteen will rejoin the team on the season's eighth episode, which airs next month.

The installment in question features a porn star case that House takes advantage of to seduce the pair of doctors back into Princeton Plainsboro.

Thirteen and Taub

Meanwhile, House is off next week, but will return on November 2 with an episode that centers around a medical conference.

During this hour, look for House to discover that Cuddy is dating Lucas (a returning Michael Weston), his former private eye. Let's hope it's not enough to send the evolving doctor back into the loony bin.

House Preview: "Brave Heart"

While the Chase/euthanasia angle continues next week on House, the team deals with a new patient.

This one is convinced he's suffering from the same ailment that killed both his dad and his grandfather. We have a feeling House will be confused about the solution until a closing-scene revelation.

House Preview: "The Tyrant"

This week marks the beginning of the end for Jennifer Morrison on House.

On Monday's installment, "The Tyrant," James Earl Jones guest stars as a brutal African dictator. He'll receive a controversial treatment, which will lead to a failling out between Chase and Cameron; and the eventual exit of the latter on episode nine.
