Lost Spoiler Alert: The First Four Minutes of Season Six Premiere!

After weeks of little useful information being revealed about season six of Lost, the biggest spoiler imaginable has been leaked:

The first four minutes of the show's sixth season premiere.

ABC might take down this video at any moment, so check it out while you have the chance. What does it include?

We can't say... literally. Unlike many fans of this incredible drama, we prefer to go into each episode with a fresh slate. But we'll review "LA X" in depth soon after it airs and we'll also give fans this early glimpse at it now if they desire...

Lost Panel Tidbits: More on Returning Cast Members

Earlier this week, Lost producers Cartlon Cuse and Damon Lindelof spoke on numerous tidbits about season six at the 2010 TV Critics Winter Press Tour.

Among other facts, we now know that Cynthia Watros and Harold Perrineau will reprise their roles as Libby and Michael; and that ABC will soon showcase a few scenes from upcoming episodes.

But when will these (and other) cast members return to the show? And for how long? We've gathered together a few other press tour quotes from Cuse and Lindelof below, as they revealed a few mini-spoilers regarding the show's final season...

When will Perrineau and Watros appear? The latter half of the season.

For how long will Charlie return? Dominic Monaghan is back for four episodes this season.

When will Katey Sagal return as Helen? In the first third of the season.

Will major questions be answered? If we said nothing about the smoke monster, if we said nothing about the numbers, we would be killed, but we believe that we recognize what the major questions are, and we will be providing some answers to those questions.

Take Two: More Lost Season Six Spoilers and Scoops

Last week, we provided Lost fans with a slew of season six spoilers and scoops.

While we still don't know the identity of The Man in Black, or the Smoke Monster, or pretty much the answer to any over-arching, pressing question; we do have a few more teases for the final set of Lost episodes.

Courtesy of E! News, look for the following developments to take place:

  • Three individuals will be separately apprehended by the authorities.
  • Miles will have a message from a dead character.
  • The new group of others, led by Ilana, are on the island for one of three reasons: they were sent by the Man in Black to destroy the time travel mechanism; they were sent to protect Jacob; or they were sent to revive John Locke.

Questions? Theories? Let's hear them!

Lost Season Six: Spoilers, Scoops Galore!

A dead or murderous Sayid? A new villain? A shocking connection between Locke and Jack?

The heads of Lost fans are spinning these days, as E! News has been delivering a wealth of season six scoops.

Because we wish to remain somewhat surprised by the final season of the greatest show in TV history, we've avoided reading too much into these spoilers. But other viewers may crave every detail of every teaser and hint out there.

With that in mind, here's a summation of a few major season six storylines:

  • One long-time character will die within the first four hours.
  • Another will attempt suicide.
  • Desmond will appear early in the season.
  • There will be a new, major villain that will put Ben to shame.
  • Sayid either dies or tries to kill Jack (!!!!!).
  • Locke is related to Charles Widmore and Jack (?!?!?!).

Is your mind racing yet? If not, study this revealing Lost poster and try to determine the clues present in it that predict a few developments to come.

Two Lost Spoilers for Season Six

Semi-major Lost spoiler alert!

The following two tidbits aren't especially juicy, but this is Lost and this is the show's final season - we'll take what we can get!

According to Kristin Dos Santos of E! News, the following two developments are confirmed for the series' return:

  1. Maggie Grace's absence as Shannon will be explained by a change to the backstory between her and Boone (Ian Somerhalder, who will appear again).
  2. Within the first four hours of the season, Sawyer will make out with either Kate or Juliet.

The latter scoop means that Juliet isn't entirely dead at least, a fact Elizabeth Mitchell herself stated during an interview in November.

As for the first spoiler... your guess is as good as ours. But we won't exactly miss someone whose reaction to the plane crash wasn't to save others (like our hero, Jack!), but to to do this:

Lost Poster Purports to Reveal Season Six Secrets

Lost season six spoilers are harder to come by than Las Vegas cocktail waitress that did not sleep with Tiger Woods.

Therefore, you can imagine our excitement when producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse pointed fans to a newly-released poster that's part of the The Lost Underground Art Project (located online at damoncarltonandapolarbear.com).

According to Cuse, "you should look in there and there will be a couple of clues to the final season that are embedded in that poster. It will make a lot of sense once you've actually seen a few episodes of the show."

Adds Lindelof: "Look at the poster and think of the things you've seen on the show, and then whatever else is left, that's a clue for Season 6."

We wish it were that easy. Take a look for yourself:

Revealing Lost Poster

We have no idea if these are the "clues" the producers are hinting at, but the TV Fanatic staff has noticed the following about the poster:

  • Supposedly dead characters such as Boone, Mr. Eko and Shannon are featured.
  • That is an Oceanic plane... but this is not the setting of the original crash.
  • Richard Alpert is nowhere to be found.
  • That's likely Kate in the top row, alongside Jack and Sawyer... but doesn't it look a bit like Ilana?

Lost Season Six Premiere Spoilers: Duel Timelines Confirmed!

We know when season six of Lost will debut: February 2.

Now, thanks to E! News, we have an idea of what will take place on the most anticipated two hours of TV in 2010 (until the Lost series finale, that is).

Jack Goes Nuclear

Sources confirm to that site that the season premiere will present viewers with a pair of seemingly impossible, dueling storylines:

  1. We discover that Juliette is actually alive, during the same time period in which we previously saw her...
  2. ... and we see Flight 815 again.

These contrasting story/time lines will reportedly take place in different decades and continue throughout the beginning of season six.

Everyone got it? Neither do we. Everyone psyched beyond belief for Lost? So are we.

Damon Lindelof Answers Fan Questions, Previews Final Season of Lost

It's both sad and exciting: we're just a couple months away from the final season of Lost.

Who will live? Who will survive? Did May's atomic bomb explosion reset life for the castaways? Countless questions keep many viewers of the show up at night, but Damon Lindelof is here to answer a few.

The final Season

The producer replied to a number of USA Today reader inquiries this week. While he didn't reveal any major spoilers, Lindelof shed some light on a few major topics. For instance...

The season six poster is chock full of meaning: "Everything in the design of that poster is intentional. We oversaw it - now we know the audience looks at that stuff so closely, so we don't want there to be anything that we don't approve, especially at this point in the game."

Yes, Walt is unique: "We said he has this special ability, and the Others obviously grabbed him and studied him for awhile, then they got freaked out by him and decided to let him go... hopefully, why Walt was special and the role he played on the show will have a new significance when all is said and done. I'm not sure we really need the character of Walt to explain the significance."

Lost Stars Reveal Season Six Spoilers

Soon after winning an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Benjamin Linus on Lost, Michael Emerson was asked by TV Guide whether or not fans will be satisfied with the show's finale next May.

"I don't know if they'll be fully satisfied or not," he replied. "I don't know if we want to be fully satisfied. I think it's always best to go away wanting a little more."

Lost Season Six Poster

Speaking of a little more, Emerson's co-star Jorge Garcia has revealed a trio of spoilers regarding the final season of this ground-breaking series. They are:

  • The bomb DID explode: "Basically a bomb went off at the end of the last one and all bets are off," Garcia said. He didn't elaborate as to the consequences of this major event.
  • Juliet will return. An insider says Elizabeth Mitchell recently flew back from shooting scenes in Hawaii; she may return again this fall.
  • Viewers have seen the last of Libby. "It looks like we're probably not going to see Libby," Garcia said. "They'll probably deal with the story, but [actress Cynthia Watros, who plays Libby] may not be joining us."

Boone to Appear on "Several Episodes" of Lost, Ian Somerhalder Confirms

Ian Somerhalder is a busy actor.

Well into the filming for the first season of The Vampire Diaries, the actor took a break this week to fly to Hawaii and reprise his role as Boone on Lost.

Asked about his character's future on the ABC hit, Somerhalder told Entertainment Weekly:

“The only thing I can say is that I’m going back for several episodes... I have a script that weighs like 200 pounds, but I don’t really know what’s happening.”

Damon Salvatore Pic

The actor added that he was excited to play a part on Lost's final season, but the schedule is far from relaxing.

"I wrapped [an episode of The Vampire Diaries] last night, I’ll fly there, I’ll work tomorrow, and then I’ll fly straight back and then come straight back to work on The Vampire Diaries. So it’s a 10-hour flight each way, and I’ll be on the ground for 24 hours... But I wouldn’t complain if you paid me.”

Jacob: Jack is here because he has to do something. He can't be told what that is. He's got to find it himself. Sometimes, you can just hop in the back of someone's cab and tell them what they're supposed to do. Other times, you have to let him look out at the ocean for a while.
