Lost Preview "Ab Aeterno"

Based on the ABC description for "Ab Aeterno," this is all we know about next week's Lost episode: Richard faces a difficult choice.

But it certainly sounds like we're gonna get the long-awaited Richard flashback episode. How come? Check out the following list of guest stars and the characters they'll portray:

Lost Preview: "Recon"

On next week's new episode of Lost, we get a look at Sawyer in his sideways 2004 world.

Will this timeline be kind to the con man, as it seemingly has been to Jack and Locke? Or, similar to Sayid, will Sawyer be unable to deny his darker side, no matter which universe he resides in?

As always, we'll recap, review the installment after it ends, holding a Round Table discussion that aims to answer these questions and more. Until then, check out the following photos from "Recon."

Episode 15 of Lost to Feature "Huge Reveal," Cast Teases

With each episode of Lost, viewers get closer and closer to the answers they've been clamoring over for years.

But patience is required, as not every installment will reveal insight about the numbers, Jacob, Smokey or a million other questions hanging over the show.

With the exception of episode 15, that is. Airing on May 4, the hour is titled "Across The Sea" and Michael Emerson refers to it as "kooky." In what way?

"It pushes the envelope," the actor told E! News!. "It's set in a time and a place that you never have seen on a network series before, I would venture to say. When was the last time you saw a network drama episode where none of the series regulars were in the episode? That's how kooky it is."

Adds Nestor Carbonell:

"[An] episode with a huge reveal is episode 15. It's really well done."

Until then, we'll need to survive on episodes such as next week's "Dr. Linus." It centers around Ben and, based on a few photos we've gotten our hands on, a trip to the Black Rock for Richard and Jack.

Lost Cast & Crew Hint at Storyline Scoops, Spoilers

At this weekend's Paley Festival in Beverly Hills, the Lost cast and crew gathered for a handful of fans and reporters.

While they didn't reveal any specific spoilers or major happenings on future episodes, the following tidbits should be of interest to fans of the series...

Who is the mother of Jack's son, David? We've met her before. (Our guess? Julie Bowen's Sara).
Walt will "probably" be seen again.
We will definitely see Vincent again.
As mentioned by Jacob last week, someone really is coming to the island.
No more Matthew Abbadon.
The past connection between Hurley and Libby will be explored.
Charles Widmore will return.

Michael Emerson Teases "Biggest Ben Episode Ever"

When Michael Emerson was first introduced as Ben Linus, who would have thought Lost fans would lament his possible passing?

The character was initially meant to be a villian we rooted for to die - but now that Emerson has teased Ben might not be around for much longer, our reaction is: NOOOO!!!!

In a new interview with E! News, Emerson said "the biggest Ben episode ever [is coming] in the next two weeks." Ominously, he added:

"It's a big one, and it may be the last one of the Ben episodes... it's worth watching."

Whoa. Might this simply mean there aren't many Ben-based episodes remaining because this is the final season? Yes. But might it also mean Ben will soon die? That has to be considered, as well.

What will the Ben flash-sideways world consist of? Emerson says "there's more to come" of European History teacher Ben and Substitute Teacher Locke.

"I can't tell you if that's realer than the island existence that we already know of. I haven't gotten it figured out yet," the actor said, but he did add the following about Ben and Locke:

"They have an important relationship."

We're still digesting the questions from this week's episode of Lost: Is someone actually coming to the island? Why was Kate assigned number-51 on Jacob's magic dial? Who is the mother of Jack's sideways son?

We tackle a few of these topics on our Round Table discussion and encourage readers to jump in with their feedback.

But there's only so much time to dwell on the past. Lost airs a new episode on March 2 that is sure to raise even more questions and, hopefully, provide a series of answers. It's titled "Sundown" and it focuses on a possibly-infected Sayid.

Lost Clips Reveal Crazy Claire, Sober Jack

We're still digesting all the developments, actions and revelations revealed in this week's Lost episode, "The Substitute."

Read through our detailed analysis and review of the installment now.

But there's not too much time to focus on the past, as Lost's final season continues to move full steam ahead with a new installment next Tuesday. It's titled "Lighthouse" and it will focus on two members of the Shephard family: Claire and Jack.

In the following clip from it, Claire returns and does her best Rousseao impression, right down to a frantic search for a missing child. Check it out:

We then flash back sideways to 2004 and see a seemingly different, improved version of Jack. He doesn't look so troubled or drunk in the snippet below, does he?

This fuels our belief that the 2004 world in season six is somehow a series epilogue.

The characters have learned from their pre-crash, on-island mistakes and trials and now have the chance for redemption in a universe that exists as if Oceanic 815 landed safely in Los Angeles. We think that makes sense. At least for now.

All Lost theories are subject to change hourly, however.

Lost Sneak Peek: Photos and Clip from "The Substitute"

Many Lost fans found this week's episode a bit dull because it centered around Kate. She's never been the most fascinating character.

But we're confident that won't be the reaction to next Tuesday's installment, "The Substitute." For what reason? It's Locke-centric.

On the island, Fake Locke will go on a quest; while off the island - in the show's new, Sideways timeline/world - a wheelchair-bound Locke is still struggling at his old job. Check out a few photos from the episode below:

But there are a few things different in 2004 for Locke, as the clip below suggests.

First, he didn't head to Australia just to go on on a Walkabout. He was sent there by his company.

Lost Episode Spoilers: A Look Sideways

Ready for insight into which Lost characters will be featured in a trio of flash... parallels.

(Note to producers: it was a lot easier when we could refer to these episodes as "flashbacks." It was also a lot easier when we thought this show was just about people on an island, but we're not complaining.)

We've uncovered information on three March installments of the best show TV has ever seen. Read on if you wish to learn tidbits about what's happening in 2004 during these episodes...

March 9: Ben-based. Says Michael Emerson: "You'll see a man who is only faintly recognizable as the Ben we've known. What if Ben had been born and lived in unextraordinary circumstances? What might he have been like?"
March 16: All about Sawyer. Says Josh Holloway: Sawyer is "the same guy, but on the other side of the law."
March 30: Sun/Jin-centric. Says Daniel Dae Kim: It is "a totally different relationship" as "they are no longer living in Seoul and Sun didn't have to leave Jin at the airport."

New Lost Promo Reveals First Season Six Footage

As expected, ABC has removed the first four minutes from the Lost season premiere that leaked online late last week.

But the network won't be taking down the video below: airing during last night's episode of Desperate Housewives, this is the first promo to depict new footage from season six.

If you don't want to be spoiled in any way, consider yourself warned...

What stands out to us from the trailer?

There are numerous shots of Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Locke and Jin. None of them appear dead. That's encouraging.
The exterior of The Others' temple is shown.
There are new characters. Did you catch Hiroyuki Sanada and John Hawkes? They're connected in some way to the temple.
Smokey looks mad.
So does Jack.
