The last time Melrose Place viewers saw Katie Cassidy as Ella Simms, she was being stripped down to her black underwear by Jonah and... sorry, we lost our train of thought.

That might be happening a lot more to male fans of the show when it finally returns to The CW on March 9. Just listen to Cassidy's answer when asked what's on tap for the show:

"I can tell you that there's lots of sex happening... Ella's getting some - maybe from one, maybe from more."

In a word: gulp.

As for Heather Locklear's Amanda, Cassidy provided E! News with a few general spoilers about a showdown between her and Ella:

"She is bad, but we all knew that. I can’t really give away exactly what she does. Ella fights back."

Stephanie Jacobsen was also on hand and asked about the future of her character. Might Lauren - snuggling with David above - soon get out of the escort business?

"Lauren makes a couple of changes," Jacobsen said. "She encounters a few forks in her road, and she makes extreme calls. Let me say that, as the actor who plays her, her path has been very satisfying."

Will David bed Amanda? Will he ever stop stealing from the rich? Is actually a decent human being?

In a new interview with TV Guide, Melrose Place star Shaun Sipos opens up about all these topics and more. A few excerpts follow...

On David's softer side: People need to connect to someone with some humanity. It's nice to show that David has emotions, feelings and vulnerabilities. He's opening himself up to being hurt.

On an upcoming storyline: A girl does catch me stealing and it is one last heist that David has decided to take upon his shoulders. She blackmails him to spend time with her. Her dad is a very bad man.

On hooking up with Amanda: [She] wants something from David. She is looking for something that Sydney [Laura Leighton] left or Sydney had that's of extreme value to her. So she's clocking David, thinking he has some knowledge to where it is or he has it. It is Melrose Place and she may like him, she may have a thing for him. David has been known to go with the older girls.

Amanda Woodward may have returned to Melrose Place on the previous new episode, but she truly makes her presence known on the December 1 episode, "June."

As the clip below depicts, televisions's biggest bitch meets the neighbors next week. They don't exactly seem thrilled that she's moving in...

In case Amanda's permanent residence in the complex isn't enough to lure you in, there's a battle brewing between father and son, as well.

When we heard that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz had been fired from Melrose Place, it was music to our ears.

Unfortunately, before she leaves, there will be painful images for our eyes.

Colin Egglesfield, who plays Auggie and who also got the boot, told E! News yesterday that his character and that of Simpson-Wentz will get hot and heavy before they depart the show in early 2010.

"There are very few clothes involved in the near future," the actor said, while an insider added that Auggie and Violet are involved in a pair of steamy sex scenes in the near future.

This does not mean, however, that Violet and Auggie will leave the show together, hand-in-hand, in a healthy relationship.

Egglesfield said his character is headed down a dark path, as teased via instant message last episode.

"Things get pretty violent and kind of crazy. Auggie ends up hitting the bottle and falls off the deep end a little bit," he said.

As long as he's not wearing a shirt while doing so, female viewers will likely be satisfied.

Following a week off, Melrose Place returns tomorrow night with an episode titled "Gower."

As viewers can find out in the clips below, a pair of major events take place during the hour:

1. Ella confronts Lauren about the source of her influx of cash;
2. The show flashes back to when David first meets Sydney.

For a show that hasn't aired a new episode in over a week, Melrose Place has remained in the news.

It announced the firing of two stars a couple days ago, and also confirmed that Heather Locklear's Amanda will be featured prominently over the next couple months.

As for the new upcoming episode, The CW airs "Gower" on Tuesday night. As the photos from it reveal, two major storylines will play out during the hour: we'll flashback to David meeting Sydney; and we'll see Jonah continue to flirt with Kendra:

We hope you're excited about Heather Locklear's return to Melrose Place, fans.

Because The CW plans on featuring a great deal of Amanda Woodward soon after she re-debuts on November 17.

According to Jessica Lucas (Riley), the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010 is pretty much all Locklear, all the time.

"The back nine will be focusing on Heather. There is some kind of mystery there between her and Sydney, so Laura Leighton may be staying on in some form," Lucas said to E! News.

As for the supposedly spoiled murder mystery - due to her firing, it seems clear Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's Violet was involved in Sydney's death - Lucas says viewers will still be surprised to see what went down.

"Episode 12 is the whole wrap of the murder mystery, so something really shocking happens in the pool. It ties in with the murder mystery, but it's something completely unexpected."

Daphne Zuniga reprises her role of Jo Reynolds on tomorrow night's episode of Melrose Place.

But the focus of "Windsor" is really on Riley.

Sure, Jo is a successful photographer that has been traveling around the world, including shoots in Darfur and other war-torn areas of the globe. But Riley will find herself in trouble professionally and personally this week.

First, as the clip below depicts, she's asked to get a bit more naked for her modeling debut than originally planned. Watch all the way through to see what we mean:

While the Internet is buzzing over the return of Heather Locklear to Melrose Place, a former co-star has her beat by a few weeks.

Daphne Zuniga returns to the show that made her famous next week, as her character of Jo Reynolds is in charge of a photo shoot for Riley. She'll encourage this reluctant model to relax in a rather unorthodox, sexy manner.
