Privileged Scoop: Summer Reruns, Possible Pickup

Prepare to squeal with delight, Privileged fans:

Despite numerous rumors to the contrary, the show may very well return for a second season.

A source close to the series told Michael Ausiello that The CW will run repeats of the cult favorite on Fridays at 8 pm/EST throughout the summer.

This move would be exceptionally odd if the network was not likely to bring back the Joanne Garcia-based show for another season.

"It's definitely a positive sign," said a source, adding that there's no official word yet about a second season.

Still, Privileged viewers have a strong reason to feel optimistic for the first time in awhile.

Privileged Interview with JoAnna Garcia

TVGuide recently got to sit down with the beautiful JoAnna Garcia to discuss the season one finale of Privileged and its chance at a second season.  Here's a small excerpt from the interview, which we leaned heavily towards the season finale spoilers:

TVGuide.com: So sell us and sell us hard on the season finale. What's going down?
Garcia:
A lot! It's all about love — the beginnings of love, the end of love.... We shot a jam-packed, huge finale..

TVGuide.com: Like with explosions and helicopter chases?
Garcia:
No, but there's a wedding! And there's alcohol involved, and a one-night stand. But really and truly, the future of this show is about Megan's life outside of the mansion, outside of the girls. We've added a new cast member to play an editor, and he's got an amazing storyline. The season finale is going to show you really what the show is about.

TVGuide.com: Let's talk about this new editor, David, and give his portrayer a name — Robert Buckley. If there's a Season 2, is he definitely returning?
Garcia:
Yes. As a full-on series regular.

Megan and Her New Boss

TVGuide.com: Do you see David as being the "Big" to Megan's "Carrie"?
Garcia:
You're going to find that David and Megan have a lot in common, but they deal with their pasts in very different ways. I think they'll be soul mates in a way, but there will be a roller-coaster of a journey to get to a place where they can see eye-to-eye and appreciate that.

TVGuide.com: So, no necking in the season finale?
Garcia:
Probably not. [Laughs]

Privileged Preview: "All About a Brand New You"

Tomorrow night's episode of Privileged, "All About a Brand New You" is the season finale and possibly the series finale if ratings don't pick up.  Luckily the episode looks to be fantastic with Marco and Keith planning their wedding with special guest Kathy Griffin as the wedding planner!

Meanwhile, Rose and Sage are about to have one heck of a fight as Rose ditches Sage on their annual Spring Break trip to Aspen.  How is Sage going to take this just a few short weeks after Rose moved out of her room?  In the following clip, we see Rose talk to Megan about ditching the trip and what she plans on doing instead:

Someone's Getting Some on Privileged

Remember how last week we reported that there will be two breakups during Privileged's season finale on February 24th?  Well, we just learned from Korbi TV that one of the newly single girls will sleep with someone before the end of the finale.

OMG.  Our guess?  Megan and her new Editor in Chief, David Besser (played by the gorgeous Robert Buckley).  What do you guys think?  Who's getting some on Privileged?

Privileged Spoilers: Two Breakups

The Privileged season one finale is coming up and according to Korbi TV, we can expect to see two breakups in the finale.  Now the question we're all asking is who?  The following is our analysis.

We're definitely down to just three couples on the show at this point: Megan and Will, Rose and Zach, and Sage and Luis.  We're not going to count Marco and Keith since they're not together and Charlie has left the show for the season as of last episode.

Megan Goes to the BarSage at the Dinner PartyRose Dressed Up

From the recent Lucy Kate Hale interview we posted, we know that Zach is here to stay for season two so we're going to go out on a limb and assume our other two core couples are done for.

Megan and Will are obviously going through a rough patch after Megan kissed Charlie.  Sage and Luis seemed to be strong at the end of last night's episode, but based on what Sage confessed to at the end I don't think she'll last in any relationship right now.

Well, those are just our guesses!  What do you guys think?  Sound off in the comments!

Pictures of Robert Buckley on Privileged

We have a first look of the studly Robert Buckley's appearance on CW's Privileged on next week's episode.  Fans of Lipstick Jungle, be sure to tune in to the CW on Tuesday at 9 pm EST to see your favorite cougar hunter.

Robert Buckley as David Besser

This time around, Robert Buckely plays David Besser, the new editor in chief at the magazine that Will's dad is starting.  Megan, of course, is looking to write for the magazine but is having a tough time pleasing this young stud.

Also in the episode, Rose tells Sage about who their real grandfather is, causing a fight with Laurel and the girls.  Oh, and our favorite chef, Marco, tries to win his Keith back.

Robert Buckley on His Privileged Role

We're not going to lie, we don't have much of an update on Robert Buckley's upcoming role on Privileged.  What we do have is a quick quote from the hunk courtesy of Kristin Dos Santos.

Robert Buckley told her, "I mix things up. I definitely shake it up—I really, really make things hard for the guys in this show."  Now, much more importantly, we have another excuse to post a picture of Robert Buckley shirtless.

Privileged Interview: Lucy Kate Hale

TV Guide recently sat down with Privileged's always adorable Lucy Kate Hale and discussed Rose's future on the show.  Lucy goes so far as to even drop a little spoiler hint as to her big change this season and her future with Zach.  Here's a small excerpt from the interview:

TVGuide.com: What's your favorite thing about Rose? And what would you change about her?
Lucy Kate Hale:
My favorite thing about her is she's genuine and vulnerable. She wears her heart on her sleeve. The one thing I'd change is that she becomes more independent and creates more of an identity for herself.

Rose the Singer

TVGuide.com: I have that exact teaser here on my desk: "Rose makes a move to become more independent in the last two episodes [airing Feb. 10 and March 10]."
Hale:
Yeah, and it's a big change. It's sad for fans of the twins and how they're always together, but we are going to learn they are two different people and don't always have to be together.

TVGuide.com: What sort of move does Rose make? Does she shack up with boyfriend Zach, dye her hair blonde ...?
Hale:
She doesn't move in with Zach, not yet. Zach is around to stay, and if there's a Season 2 — knock on wood — he'll be there. But it's a pretty big move, literally. In the second-to-last episode, all these surprises and secrets that were kept from Rose are thrown at her, and that leads her to make big choices.

TVGuide.com: Any chance you will resurface on How I Met Your Mother as Robin's sister?
Hale:
You know what? I'm really going for it, because outside of Privileged, that was the most favorite thing I've ever done. Keep your fingers crossed, because I sure am!

Privileged Preview: "All About Confessions"

Privileged may have taken last week off, but it's done something much more tragic in our opinion, it didn't even have Charlie in the last episode.  Don't worry Charlie fans, this next episode is everything we Charlie fans have been hoping for!

In this scene from next week's "All About Confessions," Megan kidnaps Charlie as he's packing to go away to school in California.  We hear this is the infamous epiosde in which Charlie finally tells Megan his feelings.  Watch the clip and get excited!

Privileged Recap: "All About the Big Picture"

On last night's episoe of Privileged, Megan finally got to meet Will's parents, but had a whole lot of drama to bring with her along the way.  The girls, meanwhile, just wanted to spend some time with their men but were caught with their publicity parties.

Even Marco got his own storyline as he went to Laurel for an investment in his new restaurant.  Catch up on the full episode of "All About the Big Picture" in our recap.  Here's a sample of some of the pictures and quotes from the episode:
