Praise the television gods!

Thanks to E! Online, we can provide fans with a glimpse at how the show will come to an end:

Look for Olive's childhood kidnappers to re-enter the picture, while David Arquette returns and finds happiness with Olive. But will he take her away from The Pie Hole?

Also, Emerson's daughter makes an appearance; and Ned tries kissing without Saran Wrap... and it's not with Chuck. We do NOT like the sound of that!

Pushing Daises Series Finale Spoilers, Plot Details

The final three episodes of Pushing Daisies will air at The Paley Festival, which begins on April 10 in Hollywood.

A few fortunate television critics have already seen the series finale, however, and one of them has revealed a couple of tidbits related to it.

According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, the Pushing Daisies finale will include:

  • A match-up between Vivian and Lily and their synchronized swimming rivals, The Aqua Dolls (played by Wendy Malick and Nora Dunn);
  • A cameo by former My So-Called Life star Wilson Cruz.

Return of the Aunts

For fans not attending the Paley Festival in April, series creator Bryan Fuller says the final three episodes will air on DVD.

"They don't know when [the DVD] is coming out because it's contingent on when/if ABC airs [the final three episodes]. ABC has the rights to air them through September. So they're hoping that they'll know when so they can schedule a release date because the DVDs can't come out before [the final episodes] air."

Remaining Pushing Daisies Episodes Set to Air...

... but, sadly, not on television.

The tremendous, poorly-rated series' three remaining episodes will be presented during April's Paley Television Festival in Los Angeles.

This will mark closure for at least some fans of Pushing Daisies, which was canceled late last year, along with fellow ABC casualties Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money.

For months, viewers have been itching to see what happens to Ned, Chuck and company. Unfortunately, those that do not attend the festival will have to wait until the show's season two DVD is released in order to find out. So tragic.
