As avid Sons of Anarchy fans know, the adrenaline on this show has not stopped pumping for one second this season.

It's truly one of the more underrated, overlooked shows on television.

Next week, on the episode titled "Potlstch," SAMCRO must take extreme measures to procure weapons for a customer. Meanwhile, revenge is sought following a theft at Caracara Studios; and Tara's professional and personal lives collide.

As Tara Knowles on Sons of Anarchy, Maggie Siff has a lot ahead of her over the next few weeks.

Asked what's ahead for her character, the actress preview upcoming storylines to E! News by saing: "This season is the education of Tara Knowles."

What does that mean, exactly? During episode eight, for example, Jax and company get incarcerated. In response, Tara will mortgage her father's house for bail money, and show a fierce side when it comes to watching over Opie's kids.

Major Sons of Anarchy spoiler alert:

Someone is about to die a gruesome death.

According to E! News, the death will be bloody, it will be violent and it will not involve Chibs. Instead, another individual close to the motorcycle gang will go down for the eternal count.

The awful deed will take place in episode nine, an installment titled "Potlatch," and the victim will be a character that's been around since last season. That's all we can reveal for now, but send in your best guesses!

As for other Sons of Anarchy spoilers...

• In episode eight of this season, a majority of the Original Redwood Charter ends up in San Joaquin County's correctional facility after making a major tactical error in their fight against Ethan Zobelle's League of American Nationalists. Jax and Clay get into it as a result.
• Gemma and Tara will form an unexpected alliance.

Zobelle finally crossed the line last week.

On next Tuesday's new episode of Sons of Anarchy, Clay is focused on revenge. Watch FX's official preview for "Falx Cerebri" below:

The tension between Jax and Clay has been simmering all season on Sons of Anarchy.

This week, it leads to an argument over how to deal with Zobelle. In other storyline news: Tara winds up caught in Gemma's emotional struggle; while SAMCRO receive help from an unlikely source.

The tension has been building since last season, when Donna was killed in a hit ordered by Clay on Opie.

And it won't come to a head tonight, on the second episode of the second season of Sons of Anarchy.

But, soon enough Charlie Hunnam promises, Jax and Clay will have it out on the FX drama. Hunnam told TV Guide that his character tries to avoid a physical altercation for as long as possible.

"Jax tries to play an intellectual game with Clay rather than going in, guns blazing," the actor said. "But as his efforts get thwarted, his frustrations rise, and it all kind of comes to a head in a very violent fashion."

No word yet on the air date of the episode that will center around the Jax/Clay showdown, but Hunnam says:

"There's going to have to be a reckoning at some point, and Jax tries to do it in a way that's the least damaging to the club. But it builds and it builds and it builds to this violent confrontation. It's a pretty hairy sequence, but I think it's worth the wait."

Where does Sons of Anarchy go from here?

It's a question numerous fans of the FX series are asking, following the tramautic events from the second season premiere, highlighted by Gemma getting gang raped by a series of white supremacists.

On next week's episode, titled "Small Tears," Jax and Clay disagree over the former's decision; while Gemma turns to an unlikely source in order to deal with the aforementioned event.
