Mark Sheppard to Guest Star on "Epic" Supernatural Episode

Mark Sheppard is coming to Supernatural.

As first reported by Mo Ryan of The Chicago Tribune, the actor will portray a "pivotal" demon named Crowley in this season's 10th episode.

The installment, titled "Abandon All Hope..." is the final hour of Supernatural in 2009. The show will take a month-long hiatus before returning in 2010.

But it will at least go out with a bang, as the episode is "epic" and will "definitely... have the fans on the edge of their seats going into the holiday 'hellatus,'" Ryan's source said.

Sheppard has recentlg guest-starred on Burn Notice, Leverage, Dollhouse and Warehouse 13.

Supernatural Casting Call: An All-American Boy

We already knew that Supernatural was planning to unveil its version of the Tooth Fairy in this season’s sixth episode.

Now, it's seeking an actor to actually interact with this unusual individual.

According to a casting notice the show sent out, Supernatural is seeking someone to play the role of Jesse, described as:

An all-American boy age 11 who is wise beyond his years. He was adopted as an infant and remains perplexed by his unusual powers. He possesses a childlike innocence - he believes in the Tooth Fairy. He suddenly finds himself faced with a very adult decision. Recurring role.

Paris Hilton to Guest Star on Supernatural

Paris Hilton - yes, Paris Hilton! - will appear on an episode of Supernatural this season.

Not much is known about this former sex tape star's role on The CW series, but she'll guest star on episode five.

Because producers are aware of her reputation, a source close to the show tells E! News that fans should relax and "trust [show runner] Eric Kripke."

Okay. We'll try. But if she gives one of the Winchester boys an STD, we're gonna be pissed!

Rob Benedict to Reprise Role on Supernatural

It seems like there's new Supernatural casting news everyday.

Aside from adding the recurring character of Lucifer, The CW hit will welcome Rachel Miner (as Meg Masters) to the show this fall, along with a character named Raphael.

Now, we can also report that the prophet Chuck is definitely returning for season five. Played by Rob Benedict, sources say Chuck comes to the rescue of Sam and Dean at one point.

No word yet on how many episodes the character will appear in.

Supernatural Casting New Recurring Role

Supernatural's upcoming fifth season may be bringing back plenty of old characters - including Anna, Jessica, and Meg Masters - but that's not all the show doing to keep the cast from getting stale.

In addition to introducing the recurring role of Lucifer, Supernatural will be adding the recurring role of Raphael, a mechanic who becomes possessed by one of the most powerful beings in the universe.

We'll have more on this news as information is available.

Rachel Miner: Coming to Supernatural as Meg Masters

Nicki Aycox is out, Rachel Miner is in, but the result is the same:

Meg Masters, the sassy demon with a major grudge against the Winchester brothers, is coming back to Supernatural.

Originally played by Aycox, Miner - who got her start on Guiding Light and was most recently seen as a bisexual character on Californication - is taking over character; she was last seen in season two.

Rachel Miner

“I’ve been wondering, what Meg’s doing out there,” series creator Eric Kripke told TV Guide Magazine. “I’ve been continually asking the writers, ‘Where’s Meg?” She’s would make a really formidable adversary. I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script.”

At the moment, Miner’s been signed for only one episode.

Mark Pellegrino Cast as Lucifer on Supernatural

As Jacob on Lost, Mark Pellegrino portrays a seemingly ageless character, one whose intentions are unclear.

At least half of that description can be applied to his new role on Supernatural.

Sources confirm to Michael Ausiello that the actor is joining the cast of The CW drama in the role of the Prince of Darkness himself, Lucifer. He'll debut on September 10.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Adrianne Palicki would reprise her role of Jessica on the show. We'll be tuning in for that episode.
