In case the mere appearance of Katee Sackhoff on The Big Bang Theory isn't exciting enough, take note:

The former Battlestar Galactica star will get naked on the CBS sitcom. Seriously! (Editor's note: you won't actually see anything, in case that wasn't obvious.)

As previously reported, the actress will guest star on the November 23 episode of the show. USA Today has run the first photo of Sackhoff on the series, as she'll drink with Simon Helberg's Howard Wolowitz in the bathtub.

The above scene doesn't take place in real life, of course.

As fans know, Wolowitz enjoys the occasional daydream.

"But he can't recognize what's right in front of him because he's mesmerized by fantasies about women from sci-fi," says creator Chuck Lorre. "The scene is his mental image of Katee, but she's telling him the truth, that he's missing out on real life."

For now, Sackhoff - who will appear as a series regular on season eight of 24 - is only booked for one episode. But she's open to more, the newspaper reports.

"That would be terrific," said Lorre. "She could definitely be...  his muse, the magnificent woman who tells him the truth. We should all have a conscience that looks like Katee Sackhoff."

With November Sweeps approaching, The Big Bang Theory will interrupt the domestic bliss between Penny and Leonard in order to entertain viewers.

According to executive producer Bill Prady, the new couple will have its first fight next month, a dust-up that he vows will be “a big, giant, knockdown, drag-out fight.”

As told to TV Guide Magazine, Penny - still fuming - will run into Stuart, who she dated prior to getting with Leonard. Meanwhile, Prady says:

“Sheldon discovers that Penny and Leonard fighting is a little too reminiscent of his growing up back in Texas," so he tries to patch things up between them.

In other unexpected news: Wolowitz might get lucky... with a girl!

On Monday's episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Creepy Candy Coating Corollary," Wil Wheaton guest stars as himself. Sort of.

Unlike the real-life Star Trek actor (who's actually a nice guy), the actor will be portraying a version of himself that had an argument with Sheldon during an autograph signing years ago.

Now, Sheldon looks at Wheaton as his nemesis - and the two of them will engage in an epic card battle on Monday. Look for Sheldon to eam with Raj on his team, while Wheaton will partner with the comic book store owner, Stuart.

Meanwhile, Wolowitz will spend the episode begging Penny to set him up with one of her friends.  Check out some more pics from the episode:

Lewis Black will guest star this fall on an episode of The Big Bang Theory.

The stand-up comedian and Daily Show contributor will appear in the September 28 installment of the sitcom in the role of Professor Crawley, an entomologist whose life is a shambles. He gets involved in a bet between Sheldon and Wolowitz.

As for the show's other big storyline heading into season three, executive producer Bill Prady spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming hook-up between Leonard and Penny.

"There’s been two years of foreplay and the feeling was that it’s time," Prady said about these two getting together. "We know how Penny feels and we know how Leonard feels. And when he comes back from the North Pole [in the season premiere], she’s figured everything out and thinks they should just got for it. But a Sheldon crisis keeps Leonard from being able to move forward.”

It's been confirmed that Leonard and Penny will get together this fall on The Big Bang Theory.

But the relationship won't exactly go smoothly, as executive producer Bill Prady told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello in that magazine's latest issue.

"When they finally [have sex], it doesn't go so great," he said. "There was so much anticipation that when they finally make it all the way, they have trouble finding their groove."

Well, sure. Who among us hasn't been there?!?

Also, Prady aded, "Sheldon does not like waking up to find Penny in their apartment."

Perhaps having learned a lesson from shows that dragged out possible relationships for far too long (see Anatomy, Grey's), The Big Bang Theory isn't messing around with two of its main characters any longer.

When the sitcom come back for a third season - following the main quartet's return from its Arctic adventure - Penny and Leonard will give dating a try.

"we’re going to pursue a relationship between these two characters,” executive producer Chuck Lorre told TV Guide Magazine. “After the dance they’ve been doing for two years, it’s the right thing to do.”

Okay, guys. It looks like we can all start hating actor Johnny Galecki now.

On the series finale of The Big Bang Theory you can expect some solid toilet humor.  According to Ausiello Files, the nerds will actually be creating a space toilet!

Kaley Cuoco (Penny) told Ausiello, "The [guys] build a toilet and things go horribly wrong. They all find poop hilarious. It's a space toilet, so I don't have to use it or anything. Of course, it's a space toilet on this show!"

When asked if she felt Penny and Sheldon should ever hook up, she responded, "I don't think it makes any sense.  Sheldon has no use for women. If it happened, I bet it would be a nightmare sequence. Sheldon is nowhere near boyfriend material and Penny loves him that way."

She continues to defend her position by saying, "[Besides], Sheldon barely lets her into his apartment -- how would he get to the point of hooking up with her?"

We absolutely love any screen time shared between Penny and Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory.  The dynamic of these two's friendship is amazing.

However, for some twisted reason, some fans want to see them take it to the next level.  Recently, series creator Bill Prady put and end to this theory to Ausiello Files.

Bill said: "I will say this: In our season two opener, Sheldon was kind of shocked when Penny casually acknowledged that the two of them were friends."

Prady goes on to dispel the idea by saying, "I think just for Sheldon and Penny to have what she will acknowledge as a friendship is remarkable progress for him. She may be the only friend he's made in a while, so I think everyone's going to have to call that progress. Hoping for more may be way beyond possibility."

I would stop holding out hope, especially since Prady hinted that there will be a huge advance in Leonard and Penny's relationship in the season's last two episodes.

If you thought you saw the last of Kevin Sussman as Stuart, the comic book store owner, on The Big Bang Theory, you were wrong.  Even though Sheldon messed up Stuart's chances last week, he's going to get another one.

Bill Prady recently told Ausiello Files that Stuart will return on May 4th to take Penny out for a second date.  The series creator revealed, "The date doesn't go well and Leonard comes to possess a piece of information that makes him very happy."

Okay, we're going to need a little more than that.  Prady remained pretty tight lipped and hinted, "I'm not usually cagey, but it's such a fun reveal at the end of the episode that I'm going to be a little cagey... I will say now that Leonard has this information, he's going to find the events of the season finale confusing. And he's going to spend the season finale trying to add up all the information he has and see if he can get it to make sense."

Sounds like we're waiting until May 4th to figure out what that means.

For the upcoming April 27th episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Vegas Renormalization," in which Leonard and Raj take Wolowitz to Las Vegas to get over a breakup, we previously hinted there would be hookers involved.

Now we have the name and actress behind one of the prostitutes.  The beautiful Prison Break alum Jodi Lyn O'Keefe will guest star as Mikayl according to TV Guide.

As for Sheldon, well, as we already told you, he'll be stuck having a sleepover with Penny after locking himself out of his apartment and his potential "weekend of dreams."
