Ahead on The Office: The Confirmation of Endy!

On last week's episode of The Office, Erin was awaiting a date proposal from Andy.

Andy, meanwhile, was anxious for Erin to make the next move.

Soon, fortunately, these awkward miscommunications will come to an end: writer/star Paul Lieberstein confirms that Erin and Andy (hereby dubbed "Endy) will get together on the March 11 episode.

“It’s been a slow process of Andy gaining the courage to ask her out, but he finally does,” Lieberstein told Entertainment Weekly. “The wrinkle in their first date is she gets sick [with the flu], but they attempt to push on anyway.”

Meanwhile, viewers will learn more about Erin in the process of this courtship.

“We will reveal that Erin is a foster kid,” said producer BJ Novak (Ryan). “Andy went to Cornell, so they had extremely different childhoods and upbringings. And learning about those differences and trying to figure out if they mesh will provide a lot of comedy.”

So will giving this duo more musical material with which to work. Here's to hoping to many Endy duets in the future!

The Office: Casting for Michael's Girlfriend

As loyal fans of The Office, we're big fans of Holly and would like nothing more than to see this adorable character end up with Michael.

But, let's face, she appears to have moved on. Therefore, it's refreshing to see that Michael may soon be doing the same.

“Michael is going to meet someone,” said producer/writer/portrayer of Toby, Paul Lieberstein. “It’s one of these set-ups where a bunch of people go out and you don’t know you’re being set up.”

So, what happens when Michael discovers what’s going on? Lieberstein told Entertainment Weekly: “He kind of flips out and goes into ‘date mode.' And it goes in a weird direction from there.”

The love interest will debut this spring, as casting will soon get underway.

As for Holly, might she end up with Michael in the end? Lieberstein would simply say: "I’d love to see her back.”

He isn't alone. Until then, remember to catch up on your favorite The Office quotes every week at TV Fanatic.

Coming to The Office: Kathy Bates and A Baby

While Community and 30 Rock both return with new episodes this week, fans must wait until January 21 for a new episode of The Office.

Fortunately, NBC has given viewers a couple of exciting teases to consider as they await new installments of the funniest show on TV.

First, Kathy Bates will join the cast on February 4. The Oscar winner will recur on the series as the  CEO of the company that purchases Dunder Mifflin.

“She’s a larger-than-life character,” producer Greg Daniels Daniels told reporters this weekend. “She has two giant Great Danes that accompany her when she first visits the office.”

Also, Pam's pregnancy will be the focus of a two-part episode that airs on March 4 and 11.

“It’s big,” said Daniels. “Part of the concept of it is that Pam is trying to hold the baby in until after midnight so she can get the maximum time in the hospital because of the HMO. So she’s trying to keep the baby in while she’s at work. She pushes it maybe too far.”

Knot Tied

For Pam and Jim, first came love; then came marriage; then, in early March, will come a child in a baby carriage.

The Office Baby Update: Delayed By the Olympics Like Everything Else!

The Office's beloved Jim and Pam Halpert (John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer) will be welcoming a new addition to their family soon. But not until after the Olympics, natch.

When Pam finally gives birth on the Thursday night comedy, the little boy or girl may well be walking and talking already, because she's been pregnant since May already.

She's not even showing, really. At this rate, the kid will be born in mid-2011.

"Pam was originally due in February, but now the baby won't come until at least March," Jenna told E!, and you can blame the Olympics, airing February 12-28 on NBC.

The Winter Games will preempt The Office quotes (and babies) for a few Thursdays. Who cares about luge, ski jumping and bobsledding when you've got the Dundies?!

Jenna Fischer Photo

Jenna Fischer isn't looking too pregnant in real life. Because she's not.

On the flip side, unlike SOME shows that will remain anonymous but are totally on our s--t list right now (cough, Glee, FlashForward, V), The Office won't be gone too long.

We'll get to see two episodes before the Olympics, on February 4 and 11, as well as tonight's Christmas episode. So that's better than nothing, and sure to be hilarious.

The Office Spoilers: Jim-Pam Baby Due in February!

This weekend at Us Weekly's Hot in Hollywood party, The Office star Jenna Fischer dished a little on what she calls the "new Jim and Pam," and their future baby.

Is the PB&J baby (to use Kevin's nickname for them, one of our favorite Office quotes) going to arrive this season? And what will that entail? Well, Jenna says ...

"We haven't shot the birth yet. We're on a hiatus right now, but it's coming up. Pam's gonna give birth in February. The baby's due then so not much longer now!"

"My favorite thing was the outfit I got to wear for the Christmas episode," she adds. "They got me a little red jumper dress and it looked cute with the baby bump."

Jenna Fischer is quick to note Pam's strong work ethic.

"She's been a trouper, she hasn't missed any work, if you've noticed. She only vomited in the office once ... well, more than once, but she's a model employee!"

Any other Office romance gossip on the horizon?

"I always like our office romances. I personally am a fan of the Dwight and Angela romance," Jenna said. "I would like to see more of that in the upcoming season."

"I hope that will rekindle because those two oddballs are kind of my favorite. But I'm really liking the Andy and Erin love story. It's bringing out a really neat side of Andy, and I think Erin is just such a sweet soul. I think it's nice."

Sam Daly to Recur on The Office

A family feud is coming to Thursday nights!

While Tim Daly stars on Private Practice, his son has just signed on for a recurring role on The Office.

Sam Daly debut on the December 10 episode of the NBC sitcom. He'll appear as Oscar’s new, younger boyfriend.

“He looks like Tim, except he has blonde hair,” said Oscar Martinez (Oscar) “He’s six foot tall and really nice.”

While nothing has been confirmed yet, Daly will likely appear on multiple episodes.

Martinez told TV Guide Magazine that it may take awhile before Oscar’s co-workers discover he's gone all cougar on them.

“I’m not sure if people at the office are going to find out about this right away," he said.

The Office Wedding: Clips Galore!

You've read a feature article about the wildly anticipated hour of comedy.

But what about watching a couple scenes from the day Jim and Pam finally tie the knot? We had a feeling that would pique the interest of readers.

The Office Wedding: Photos Galore!

On this week's episode of The Office, Pam tried her best to figure out who was coming to her and Jim's wedding.

Consider this a spoiler, but we can confirm that the entire gang makes it to Niagra Falls for the October 8 episode titled "Niagra."

During this one-hour special, Jim will screw up his rehearsal dinner toast; Kevin and Oscar will be mistaken for a couple; Andy will go after Erin; and, oh yeah, the ceremony viewers have waited five years for will take place!

Be warned: The Office quotes that week may be as sentimental as they are funny. We can't wait.

The Office Wedding Spoilers: Get All the Details!

On October 8, The Office quotes will go from hilarious to sentimental. Sort of.

On that date, the NBC sitcom airs a one-hour episode that focuses on an event years in the making: Jim and Pam's wedding.

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, various cast members speak on the occasion, which will be set at Niagra Falls.

“It’s about keeping this relationship as real as we can instead of making it a television romance,” said John Krasinski (Jim). “When you have two characters who are so perfect for each other, it’s a little weird for them to not get married.  So you have to put that step in, whether it’s been done on television successfully before or not.”

The Office on EW

This is The Office, of course. Not everything will go smoothly during the wedding weekend.

Said Paul Lieberstein (a wrier on the show, and the actor that portrays the underrated Toby), referring to a rehearsal dinner mistake:  "Jim ruins his own wedding.”

Meanwhile, Pam is pregnant and a baby will soon enter the picture. But Steve Carell assures fans the show won't go from funny to cheesy:

“I don’t’ think the show will become The Office Baby,” he said, while Lieberstein adds that “we’re certainly not going to ignore the kid.  But one of the things that’s great about being an office comedy is kids don’t really come to work with you.”

The Office Spoilers: Romance, Cheating and Pregnancies (Plural)

Now that Jim and Pam are getting married, Dwight and Angela are broken up and Michael and Holly are on the back burner, is romance dead on The Office?

Hardly. Don't forget Erin the receptionist and lone single hot girl at Dunder-Mifflin! According to TV Guide, the perky brunette "will find love this season."

Who with? Our money's on the 'Nard-dog. Andy.

Erin on The Office

What else do we have to look forward to? The Season 6 premiere, which is about gossip (Office gossip, not celebrity gossip, Kelly's forte), holds the following:

  • At least one (!) employee is pregnant
  • One is cheating on his / her partner
  • One is questioning his or her sexuality

Any theories? Throw them out there, Office fans!!
