It's been speculated for a long time; and his use of the Money in the Bank suitcase to defeat an exhaused Jeff Hardy only fueled the rumors.

But we can now report with certainty: CM Punk is turning heel.

The current main event for the WWE Supershows in Salisbury, Maryland on July 24 (and Wildwood, New Jersey on the 25) pits John Cena and Rey Mysterio  against Big Show and CM Punk.

Cards are always subject to change, but all signs point to a heel turn by CM Punk. We're all for it. Are you?

As previously reported, Batista injured his biceps muscle a couple weeks ago.

As a result, WWE has confirmed that the star will undergo surgery this week. WWE.com writes:

Less than 48 hours after capturing the WWE Championship for the first time in his career, Batista has suffered a completely torn left bicep requiring surgery that will keep him out of action for at least four months.

Last night, on Monday Night Raw, Legacy beat down the WWE Champ, injuring his arm. The actual injury is a torn tendon of the muscle.

Look for Batista to soon drop the WWE title, likely as early as next week's three-hour Raw.

According to sources, Batista suffered a partial bicep tear a few weeks ago.

That's why his steel cage match against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules was so short.

It's unclear how much time Batista will miss in the ring, but he may actually forfeit the championship belt on tonight's WWE Raw. As always, we'll provide a full recap of the show after it airs.

After being released in November 2007 for his second violation of the WWE Wellness policy (i.e. the guy did major steroids!), Chris Masters has been resigned.

Masters reportedly had a long talk with Vince McMahon at last week's television tapings in Los Angeles. He must have done a solid job convincing his boss that he was now clean.

There's no word yet on when Masters will return to television, but it's rumored to be the very near future.

As previously reported, Jeff Hardy has not signed a new WWE contract.

He likely will at some point, but all indications point to him taking a break from wrestling for awhile first.

Therefore, the question arises: when will viewers see him on TV for the final time?

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE writers are working under the impression that Hardy’s last show will be this month's Great American Bash; however, just in case, they are also brainstorming ideas involving him for SummerSlam.

The Heavyweight Champion and the Intercontinental Champion went head-to-head at this week's WWE Smackdown taping.

As fans await the returns of Triple H and The Undertaker, we have news on when a WWE Diva will come back to TV.

On her Twitter page today, Candice Michelle said she'll be returning action later this month. The Godaddy.com spokeswoman has been out of action since February, due to a knee injury she suffered while training.

Mr. Kennedy has been released from the WWE. Here's what the official company site says:

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Mr. Kennedy (Ken Kennedy) as of today, May, 29 2009. WWE wishes Ken the best in all future endeavors.

A few weeks ago, WWE officials began discussions of a his come back, as a deal was struck a week prior to the Judgment Day pay-per-view. What was the basis for this decision?

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a decline in TV ratings pushed the idea of a Flair return.

With the return of Natch, there;s no need to rush the return of Triple H. As for the future of Flair and related storylines, there are several scenarios WWE could go with.

One idea involved Orton punting Flair in the head to setup the return of Triple H, while another points to possible Batista heel turn.

Either way, it's nice to see The Nature Boy back!
