WWE Spoilers: The End of Legacy

In recent weeks, as many fans have noticed, WWE has been airing backstage segments with Ted DiBiase Jr. criticizing Randy Orton behind his back, as Cody Rhodes appears to side with Orton.

The reason behind this, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter?

Eventually, WWE officials wanna turn DiBiase, making him a big-time babyface. Reportedly, the company wants the third-generation wrestler to be make a major mark as a good guy in time for the DVD release of The Marine 2, a movie in which he stars.

This week's Friday Night Smackdown taping emanated from Madison Square Garden for the first time in four years.

As if that's not exciting enough, four top superstars battled in the main event to see who would take on Edge at Judgment Day in a few weeks.

This summer, WWE goes extreme.

The company is airing a new pay-per-view, titled WWE Extreme Rules. It will take place on June 7 in New Orleans.

Kurt Angle: Returning to the WWE?

Might Kurt Angle finish his career back where it started?

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE officials are thinking about offering Angle a contract when his deal with TNA Wrestling expires later this year.

However, Angle has a history of injuries, and his reduced size could work against him in the WWE. Would the company be willing to give him an easier schedule than the one he suffered through in the past?

Most experts believe Angle would be best-served to end his career in TNA, but money talks. And Vince McMahon certainly has money.

Tazz: Headed for TNA Wrestling

It looks like former Smackdown announcer Tazz is headed to TNA Wrestling.

When his non-complete clause with WWE expires, the wrestler will go by "Taz" and will become Samoa Joe’s advisor.

TNA teased Taz’s debut by having Joe wear a towel on his head in a backstage segment last week, the same look that Tazz went with back during his in-ring days.

This week's edition of Friday Night Smackdown airs from London.

During the broadcast, viewers will see Shane McMahon and Batista take on Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in the main event, while a pair of giants (The Big Show and The Undertaker) do battle earlier in the evening.

Possible WWE Backlash Spoilers: Cena vs. Edge

Following the WWE draft both the WWE champion (Triple H) and the World champion (John Cena) are on the same brand (RAW).

Therefore, odds point to a title change at the upcoming Backlash pay-per view on April 26.

Because Cena is defending his World title against SmackDown! star Edge, it seems more than likely that Edge wins the belt in order to keep the top-two singles titles on opposing brands.

We hope this happens... and then we hope Edge holds on to the title for many months. He's the company's best heel and this championship needs a long-term home.

WWE Spoilers: The Return of Mr. Kennedy

When will Mr. Kennedy return to action?

It his latest blog entry, Jim Ross said the injured star is still over a month away from coming back to the ring. (Kennedy injured his shoulder in August 2008; previous reports said the injury was career-threatening.)

"It will also be interesting to see how impactful Mr. Kennedy is when he debuts on Raw after fully healing from shoulder surgery which should be in the next month or so," Ross write. "If Kennedy 'hits' as he is likely to do, then Monday Night Raw gets even stronger."

CM Punk Teases Title Match at Judgment Day

When will CM Punk cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase?

During a recent interview with MetalInjection.net, the star hinted at when this event might take place.

"My plan is to call somebody out a little bit ahead of time instead of doing the surprise thing. There is a PPV, Judgment Day in Chicago coming up so I might have to do it so I have the hometown advantage."

WWE Judgement Day takes place on Sunday, May 17.
