Black Mirror Gets Season 5 Premiere Date - Watch First Trailer

After the success of Black Mirror Bandersnatch, it's time to turn our focus back to the regular edition of Netflix's thriller series. 

The streamer has announced the fifth season will bow on Wednesday, June 5, but if you're looking to binge the hell out of it, we have some bad news:

Black Mirror Season 5 will span just three episodes. The show's first two seasons had three episodes each back when the United Kingdom's Channel 4 had the rights to the series. 

Seasons 3 and 4, which were both Netflix originals had 6 episodes each. 

Netflix has yet to reveal details about the upcoming season, but we did get a glimpse at the new episodes and cast members in the trailer.

Miley Cyrus is seemingly playing a popstar who is in a difficult stage of her life, presumably because of the rise of social media. 

Black Mirror has always been a show about technology, so it's hard to imagine the episode not leaning heavily on that.

Anthony Mackie and Nicole Beharie play a husband and wife who are struggling to make their relationship work. 

It looks like one of them is stepping out on the other, but the trailer is probably just playing with expectations. 

There's a robotic doll thrown in for good measure. 

We're intrigued!
