Black Mirror Movie to Be Released on Friday - Watch Trailer
Paul Dailly at .Netflix is taking fans of Black Mirror on a wild ride before 2018 comes to a close.
The streamer on Thursday released the first trailer for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, and there's even more good news:
It will debut on Netflix globally December 28.
“In 1984, a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Welcome back.”
Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), Will Poulter (The Maze Runner) and Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing) are all part of the cast for what is being billed as a movie event.
This means the project will not form part of the award-winning drama's fifth season as previously reported.
What's more, it is also expected to be an interactive experience that will allow viewers to make decisions that will affect the narrative.
Well, the trailer seems to hint as much, and we're all for it if it does turn out to be the case.
There's also no telling when Black Mirror Season 5 will get underway, but this movie event is the next best thing, right?
With a solid cast and directing from David Slade, we think it's fair to say this movie event could also rack up some more awards wins for the franchise.
