When Meredith smiles here when he shows her Izzie's scans, I can't help but smiling with her. Ellen does a fantastic job in that scene. I truly believed and felt her emotions. And, how could she say no to that proposal? OMG perfect!
i think she turned down the other one because of izzies surgery and also i think she knew that derek could do it better like he done in the end
