A teacher and a surgeon go out on a date.
This isn't exactly an extraordinary occurrence.
Dates happen every day.
Sometimes it leads to a love connection, sometimes it doesn't.
What isn't expected is to have such a seemingly innocent event blow up someone's life.
But that's exactly what happens in Sundance TV's, Liar.
Joanne Froggat (Downton Abbey) and Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four) play Laura and Andrew; two ordinary people who have their lives turned upside down after they decide to go out on a date.
There are two sides to every story, and viewers will hear them both, but who's telling the truth?
Laura? Andrew? Both? Neither?
