Luke Cage: Official Trailer Released!

Luke Cage will be spinning off for his own series this September on Netflix!

The character recurred on Jessica Jones Season 1, so we at least know what to expect with him. 

He's very to the point. He doesn't mess around. 

He and Jessica Jones were in a very awkward relationship. 

It was awkward because she played a part in the murder of his wife. 

That's something that battled Cage throughout his appearances on Jessica Jones, but it seems like the closure Jessica gave him has sent him in a different direction. 

Like Jessica, he's an unlikely hero. 

He needs to ensure that the mean streets of Harlem are kept safe. 

In the trailer, it looks like he uses his non-penetrable skin to his advantage, but it causes problems. 

Being a superhero drama, you can always expect problems to pop up for the lead characters. 

The city is pretty much screwed because it isn't invincible. 

Luke will have to go up against a whole host of villains in order to clean the streets. 

We know that Jessica will stop by for some of the fun, but will she and Luke be on good terms?

Luke Cage serves as the third series in Marvel's The Defenders franchise. 

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will join forces in 2017 for a superhero team-up series. 

It should be intriguing to watch Luke Cage in order to find out how we get to the stage when all the characters need to join forces. 

Who will their big villain be?
