Riverdale Promo: Let's Play A Game

at .

The past never stays buried in the town of Riverdale. By now, the parents should have learned this harsh lesson, but they're diving in deeper on Riverdale Season 3 Episode 12.

Someone is bringing The Midnight Club back together to finish their game of Gryphons and Gargoyles.

None of the adults have played the game since that fateful day back in 1992. With Principal Featherhead dead as a result, their game night was meant to stay a secret forever. But, a mysterious mastermind wants them to finish their story.

Could the Gargoyle King be behind this? Will one of the parents die as a result?

Considering their luck with the chalices, their odds don't look too good.

Back To The Beginning - Tall - Riverdale Season 3 Episode 12

The parents aren't the only ones dealing with the tension of the Gargoyle King. Kevin and Moose have reached their biggest hurdle yet for their relationship.

Based on the trailer, they've "lost" to the Gargoyle King and must play the ultimate game.

Will he lose the game and consume the poison?

RROC - Tall - Riverdale Season 3 Episode 12

Hermione is sticking to her guns after Veronica's betrayal on Riverdale Season 3 Episode 11.

Since Veronica and Reggie burned all of the Fizzle Rocks, Hermione and Hiram owe a lot of money to a mysterious supplier. Someone has to pay it back and it looks like Hermione is making her daughter fulfill the obligations.

But will Veronica's plan to get money go smoothly? Apparently not!

We see clips of Reggie dropping a bag, running for a car, and Veronica looked terrified over a potentially injured Reggie. He might've been shot as a result of their plan!

What did they do to get money?!

Game Night - Riverdale

Elsewhere in the promo, we see a squad team break into the bunker, Veronica searching deep into the woods at night, and we hear a scream over the discovery of the Gargoyle King's message.

Plus, we have the return of Gladys Jones (played by guest star Gina Gershon). She has been missed!

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 12 Quotes

Josie: I don’t know if you’ve heard, but my mom is getting married to Kevin’s dad. And I wanted to know if you would be my date for the wedding?
Sweet Pea: As your boyfriend?
Josie: Does it have to be so official?
Sweet Pea: Josie, I like you and I would be with you, all in with you in a second. But, you sliding into my life when you don’t want to be alone ... I’m not built that way. Maybe that makes me needy, but I just ... I’ve got to get off this merry-go-round with you.

Kevin: Well, there’s this guy and we’ve been having problems...
Cheryl: Moose, you mean?
[Kevin is stunned]
Cheryl: Please, I have eyes. I saw you lounging together at my pool party looking like a community theater production of the Talented Mr. Ripley. The Moose ship has been trouble from the gay get-go. Maybe it’s time you move on?
Kevin: I can’t go back to Fox Forest.
Cheryl: Oh, sullen tender-hearted Kevin. I’m not talking about cruising, I’m talking about Bumble.
