The Bastard Executioner Trailer

Kurt Sutter will follow-up Sons of Anarchy with The Bastard Executioner and, you won't believe this, but the latter drama appears to be filled with bloodshed and violence.

FX released the first trailer for this period piece during The Strain Season 2 Episode 1 and it gives us a look at Katey Sagal looking absolutely nothing like Katey Sagal.

Set in 14th century, The Bastard Executioner tells the story of a knight who vows to give up fighting...until he’s forced to become an executioner.

Along with Sagal, the show will feature Stephen Moyer, Sutter himself, Darren Evans, Lee Jones, Elen Rhys, Sam Spruell, Flora Spencer-Longhurst, Timothy V. Murphy, Brian F. O'Byrne and Kyle Rees.

It will debut on FX this fall.
