The Neigborhood Trailer: Most Promising Comedy of the Season?

at .

The Neighborhood looks like a hoot.

CBS has released the first trailer for the series which stars Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Tichina Arnold, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears, Dreama Walker and Hank Greenspan.

The premise follows the Johnson family who moves to a deprived Los Angeles neighborhood and find themselves scrutinized because of how nice they appear to be.

In the trailer alone, you can see Cedric's Calvin up in arms at the way Johnson family patriarch, Dave speaks to him.

The trailer includes Josh Lawson as Dave Johnson, but there was a recast after the show landed a series order at CBS and New Girl's Max Greenfield will assume the role.

If first impressions are everything, then The Neighborhood has a lot going for it. The cast alone is great, and most of them have roots in the world of comedy.

The Neighborhood will be the new anchor of CBS' rejigged Monday line-up which also includes fellow new additions Magnum P.I. and Happy Together.

Have a look at the full trailer below and hit the comments with your thoughts on it.

Is this a comedy series you could get on board with during the 2018-2019 season?
