The Vampire Diaries Clip: Our Lives are Weird...

In this clip from The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 4, "I Carry Your Heart with Me," Caroline and Bonnie are hanging out in bed.

And they're just doing what best friends do, catching up on the latest happenings in their world, which in this case, means the following:

• Caroline cannot touch any fellow vampires because Valerie has essentially turned her skin into vervain.
• Bonnie doesn't have a lot of time to talk before she has go stop Alaric from bringing Jo back from the dead with some kind of mysteriously dangerous stone, which she thinks is a pretty bad idea because The Other Side is gone and Jo is likely at peace.

Just your basic college-aged gossip, just regular developments that go on in the lives of all teenagers, right?

No, not exactly.

"Our lives are weird," Caroline hilariously notes at one point.

"Tell me about it," Bonnie replies.

On this installment of The Vampire Diaries Season 7, Damon will need to scramble to cover up Oscar's death from last week. Will he be able to trick Lily long enough to make a switch for Elena's coffin?

Elsewhere, Mary Louise and Nora will attend Whitmore College’s Heaven & Hell ball, which means Stefan and Caroline will also attend that event in order to distract the Heretics.

Lastly, Bonnie and Alaric's plan won't exactly go as planned... while Enzo will set out on a mission concerning Valerie. She's clearly up to something. What is she hiding, exactly?
