   I love Elena and Damon together! They make each other so happy! But the new couple I want is Klaus and Caroline!

   If someone is going to die it will probably be Tyler, because people rarely win when your trying to take down Klaus. Otherwise if no one does I think Jeremy is going to leave town for a while ..

   Ok. We all know how this is going to end! The rest of Damon's speech will obviously be "but I can't because is not right and I cannot be selfish with you, so no matter what you want, I know this is not right for you and I'll let you go.". So that Elena forgets about Damon and the only way to re-establish Elena's free-will will be to turn her into a human again. This way Damon and Stefan have to work back togheter to find the cure which will make Elena able to choose again between the two of 'em. That's too bad for the show, it's starting to become painful to watch.
   Anyway, if I am right, I'm gonna send an application form to TVD's writers. Trivial.
   
   Ps: I must admit I thought the same as Leigh Raines. Couldn't Damon just command Elena to not be sired to him anymore?

   there has been lots of proof that elena loved or deeply cared for Damon long before this season .and lets not forget the times he saved her and actually made her smile .i think she has had a deep affection for Damon for along time .As julie said Elena is finally giving into her feelings for Damon .Finally suggests those feeling s were always there .Damon continued to surprise and amaze her thoughout all these seasons .Damon also accepts her unconditionally .
