A bee-retrieval specialist finds a dismembered body in a trash bag behind a dumpster and reacts, causing bees to swarm him.

Delilah is pushing McGee to do a kitchen remodel but he persuades her to wait until next year.

Jimmy, who belongs to an amateur bee-keeping club, shows up in a full protective suit to the crime scene.

Parker informs McGee that a remodel led to his divorce.

Jessica says the prints belong to Marine Capt. Tom Riley, who died two years ago in San Diego. Jimmy says the body died within the past week.

Riley's former C.O. explains that he died as the pilot in a helicopter crash into water. Riley's was the only body not recovered.

She says that Riley was a troubled Marine who may have been drinking on the day of the crash.

Jimmy's autopsy reveals that Riley was stabbed to death 48 hours ago.

Based on the precision of the wounds and cuts, Jimmy judges that the killer had struck before. He also found blood that didn't belong to the victim.

One of Delilah's coworkers has a sister who works on a remodeling TV show who wants to interview them to be contestants.

Since his disappearance, Riley had been living in Texas under the name Tom Wade. He flew into D.C. a week ago.

Jessica and Nick volunteer to go to Texas to investigate Riley's new life.

The innkeeper Jo is also the sheriff in town.

Riley had worked for the Bannons, powerful local cattle ranchers.

Nick and Jessica go to question Carl Bannon, who shoots a rattlesnake who is sneaking up on them.

He lets them question Riley's coworkers, against the wishes of Jackson, his son/lawyer.

Kasie tells Parker that the metal links found on Riley's body were pieces of chain mail. The blood found was animal blood.

Nick tames a fiery horse.

A female ranchhand saw Riley loadng up his truck with boxes after hours.

During their interview, the producer wants more drama from the McGees.

Nick and Jessica discover the boxes were donations to his church.

His pastor says that Riley was in D.C. investigating the Bannons.

Jessica determines that Riley and Jackson were in a secret relationship.

Jackson tells her he's suspicious about Carl's recent land deal.

The reality show passed on the McGees because they weren't dysfunctional enough. Tim is charging ahead with the remodel anyway, despite his total lack of handyman skills.

Kasie figures out that Riley was killed at a meat-processing plant, one of which Carl owns in D.C.

The theory is that Carl had his ranchhands commit arson on the adjoining land to lower its value, then paid off the investigating officer.

The meat-plant manager, who had been dosed with meth, attacks Parker and McGee.

Kasie found meth inside two carcasses from the Bannon ranch at the plant.

Two butchers admit to killing Riley under orders from the female ranch hand, the brains of the drug-smuggling operation.

She shoots Carl and rides off, with Nick in pursuit. He runs her down.
