Manifest Trailer: Has NBC Rebooted Lost?

Well, this looks like one for the Lost fans!

NBC has unveiled the official trailer for Manifest, a high concept drama that looks set to be the next big hit. 

Per the official logline:

A plane disappears from radar and returns years later after being untraceable and presumed lost at sea.

No time has passed for those on the plane, but for their loved ones at home, many years have gone by. The series follows their personal lives as well as the larger mystery and purpose that is their destiny.

It stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina and Parveen Kaur. This marks Dallas' big TV return after exiting Once Upon a Time a year ago ahead of the show's big revamp. 

The trailer shows off exactly what you would expect from a series with such a high-concept. In recent years, dramas of this caliber have had solid launches, but the ratings have quickly fallen apart. 

The common complaint of these type of dramas is that they don't give the answers in a prompt enough manner, but will Manifest be able to buck the trend and keep audiences enthralled throughout?

The series has a solid launching pad behind The Voice on Mondays, but we'll need to tune in to find out just how great the series is.
