Crazy Reality TV Rumor: Another Ashlee Simpson Show on the Way

at .

Considering the source - and idea - of this story, you might wanna take it with a grain of salt bigger than Ashlee Simpson's old nose.

According to OK! Weekly, the young sister's insane father, Joe Simpson, is "pushing" a new I Love New York-like reality dating series starring Ashlee.

"It will put 14 guys in a house and they will compete to date Ashlee," the insider told OK!, adding the show is tentatively titled Lipsync Jungle, a reference to Ashlee's October 2004 Saturday Night Live lip-synching mishap.

Ashlee's first foray into reality television was Summer 2004's The Ashlee Simpson Show, which aired on MTV immediately following third-season episodes of Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, the reality series starring Ashlee's big sister Jessica and her husband at the time Nick Lachey that worked out so well for them.

Of course, there's a small snafu with this rumored concept: Ashlee has been dating Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz for more than a year, a problem Joe evidently doesn't find too troublesome.

"He wants Ashlee to break-up with Pete," a source said. "[But] no way will Ashlee dump Pete. Ashlee doesn't listen to her father's crazy schemes."

I’m writing in the paper that Kingfisher is on the verge of bankruptcy … which it is. The next morning, I get slapped with two lawsuits from Natey Flint. He takes out a liable suit against the Sunrise Herald and a one-million-dollar liable suit against me.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
