In the Soap Opera Spotlight: Brandon Beemer

While Brandom Beemer appeared on General Hospital as Seth in 2005, he's made a nice home for himself now on Days of Our Lives.

The young, handsome actor portrays Shawn. Here are a few interesting facts about him:

• After graduating from high school, he briefly worked as a driver at the local Coca-Cola bottling plant.

• Previously portrayed another character on Days of our Lives: Assistant DA Brett Weitz, in February 2006.

• He first started work as Shawn on September 11, 2006.

• Beemer loves playing poker, particularly Texas Hold 'em.

• The actor and Cathy Doe (Simone, Passions) rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange on March 15, 2007.
