With Barack Obama having won the Democratic presidential nomination, his supporters - including Private Practice star Kate Walsh - can celebrate.

"I think this is a great movement in American history," Kate Walsh told Us Weekly about her preferred Democratic candidate's victory.

"The American people want a change in their government and Barack Obama is the best person to lead and serve and bring about the real changes people want. I am thrilled."

We'll be equally thrilled when Kate Walsh and the rest of the Private Practice cast return to ABC this fall.
