Project Runway Recap: What a Drag

at .

On last night's episode of Project Runway, the designers were surprised by Season 4 designer Chris March, dressed completely in drag.

The night's theme will be all about drag queens and the contestants will get to show off their outrageous, over-the-top designs.

The designers meet with Tim Gunn, who tells them that their outfits will be auctioned off for Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS.

Project Runway: Drag Style

The drag queens visit the studio to meet with their designers and give their input before the materials are bought for the outfits.

Some of the ideas thrown out there are sexy, fiery, futuristic, bright, and retro. The clients come in for their fittings.

Korto's model, Sweetie, wants her to cut the design a little to be a little more form fitting. Jerell's model doesn't love her design, because she doesn't like over the top outfits.

Joe's model wants her design to be more feminine. Hedda Lettuce, Suede's model, calls him lazy and says the design looks like Godzilla.

After the designs are shown on the runway, the judges give feedback. Keith, Jerell, and Daniel score the lowest and end up in the bottom. Joe was named the winner of the challenge and will receive immunity.

Daniel and Keith land in the bottom. Heidi Klum thought Keith's design was just random, unpolished, and unoriginal. But she felt Daniel played it safe and gave too many excuses. So Daniel, you ah out.

I’m writing in the paper that Kingfisher is on the verge of bankruptcy … which it is. The next morning, I get slapped with two lawsuits from Natey Flint. He takes out a liable suit against the Sunrise Herald and a one-million-dollar liable suit against me.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
